C&S Henry E Becker

Video of the Centerville & Southwestern Railroad 1938-1972 filmed by owner operator Henry E. Becker. It shows the early construction of the railroad, using locomotive # 1500, and a great portion showing Mr. Becker's pride and joy, live steam 4-8-4 locomotive # 1501. The film ends with the final trips on September 4, 1972 and its final destination, the Henry Ford Museum n Dearborn, MI. The film is narrated by former Becker Dairy employee, Bob Bennington, who also drove # 1502 on the last day. He later was a valued member of the Phillipsburg Railroad Historians, who now own the majority of the railroad.
