Great video.Hi Eric, Please I have a first degree but with a CGPA of 2.47 as a result I don't meet the admission requirements and scholarship requirements for most grad schools in the US. Can I try the community colleges then later move to a university? Thanks
First don’t doubt yourself there many scholarships that may not necessarily care about low cgpa but you show your active involvement in community development and service and future impact… eg is commonwealth and chevening in uk
For US you have evaluate your results with WES.. to improve you score,, do some volunteering stuffs, online courses (very key) if you have money to write gre cool if not you can leave it… and in your statement find a way to indicate what went wrong in which semester and how you were able to overcome it in you subsequent semester if you did well later..
Plus school focus on your last two years so try and calculate that too…

For HND holders seeking to pursue Masters in the US, it is advisable you Evaluate your Transcripts using an Evaluation Service. WES is recommended. That will change your HND to Bachelor’s equivalent in the US system.
And yes you can start looking for schools but be mindful of the timelines and be fast about it

Just type that in Google and you would see World Evaluation Services, create an account make payment and they will tell you the next processes

Hi I have 3rd class in biology which schools can I apply for admission and funding
So best thing in your case is to build a portfolio that includes evaluating your transcript with WES, taking some Biology related online courses to show you still improving yourself, work experience within that sector, volunteering activities to show strong give back activities… this all put together makes you a strong candidate even with a low cgpa… and lastly if you have the means to take the GRE to show your analytically ready for grad school
As someone coming from Nigeria who has been taught in English from kindergarten do I still need to submit English Proficiency?
You don’t need to necessarily submit that. You can always write them an email and explain the situation to the Graduate Division or the Department you are in. They will help deal with that… once you come form an English Speaking country you are mostly exempted

However they didn't get the recommendation mail. Because of that the application is pending. So could you please suggest me how to send the recommendation mails to them even I tried to send it multiple times at the end they are not getting th emails.

They have sent me congratulations for scholarship with some code and $25000 I don't know if it real but they have call I couldn't answered it please let me know if this is real
The selection will be done somewhere in July so you want double check. plus this particular scholarship is solely for females. there is an official email on their website so try and do due diligence. But remember not to pay any money to anyone if anyone demands it.
