Lovely interview. It's at best when the host doesn't carry the artist with pre conceived notions but respect them for what they are. They are 2 different things. It's the latter in this case. Nawaz and Vijay sethupathi are 2 gems in India that should be left alone and let them be.

Nawaz is right. People now act to love an artistic films rather than actual loving it. We praise every dark, gritty film and pan the Action films like FIGHTER which gave us something new in terms of visuals. Vishal bharadwaj is consistently making duds but people praise him like Nolan

Camera acting mein close up hota Hein. , AAP ke ankho ka emotion camera pakad leta Hein , AAP ka dimag ,aankhon mein kya chal raha hein , AAP sukhi hon, dukhi hon, gussa hon,dare hue hon sab kuch camera pakad leti Hein . Lekin stage mein aapko dialogue , body movement se aap ka emotion ko audience ko convey karna padta Hein . Sir mera answer thik Hein .

Indian mainstream cinema need revolution because i dont like indian mainstream movies
Indian mainstream cinema be it in
Hindi or in South India appeals to
the wider section of the audience
till the lowest denominator. There
have been great mainstream films
& absolutely terrible mainstream
films. Just like how Hollywood makes Fast & Furious films, Superhero films & other franchise films.
These films will never let go of the song & dance (if required).
It’s not for the intellectual audience. It never was &
it will never be. There are
parallel films on TH-cam &
on OTT platforms but you
haven’t seen them you choose
to judge films by only watching
the mainstream cinema & criticise
the entire Indian film industries
just basis on that cause you didn’t
bother to watch non-commercial
films. There are many foreigners
who have watched non-mainstream Indian films & loved them.
Mainstream films is not everyone
be in it Hollywood or in India!
So stop judging & stop watching them! They will never let go of
their asthetic to please others.

films & been exposed to only commercial films then it’s your

Interviewer is asking very negative questions.
Namaz played the role of Bal Thackeray properly but Pankaj tripathi failed in Atal bihari role. Pankaj sir may be good in certain roles but his range is limited.

In recent times pankaj tripathys acting has been out of the track I feel . It seems he has been trying too much, now a days..

Nice one BR and team Galatta Plus. Seems like, BR had to manage with limited vocabulary but still seems in complete ease with Mr. Nawazuddin, who himself seems comfortable and happy to talk. Nalla collaboration! Waiting for more pairings like this with artists beyond every boundary. 👌
So a man whose first language is Tamil took an effort to speak in Hindi with his guest but some love to speak in English even when the host guest and even the audience speak the same language. There's a reason why BR is a class apart
