Edmonton Radial Railway's High Level Bridge Streetcar ~ Gorgeous Ride!

If you watched my last video, where I took VIA's Canadian #2 back to a reunion, you'll know that I ended up travelling to Edmonton for the Summer Solstice, arguably the most beautiful time of year to be there. Upon learning that my youngest niece and nephew had never ridden in a taxi, on a bus, the LRT, or along the thrill-of-a-lifetime High Level Bridge Streetcar run, Auntie set out to fix these glaring gaps in their life-skills education. ;-)
This little video is of the antique streetcar rides north and south over the spectacular High Level Bridge [csce.ca/en/his...] on the volunteer-run Edmonton Radial Railway Society [www.edmonton-ra...] Streetcar #33, a double-ended beauty that originally traversed the route when it opened in 1913. The restoration work is truly impressive, as is the view from the top of the bridge.
I hope you have as much fun watching it as I did making it with two of my favourite little humans on earth (one of whom now taller than me ~ eek!). :-)
