I had vivid memories of this game I remembered all of the mechanics ALL OF IT.
BUT I JUST COULDN'T FIND IT MENTIONED ANYWHERE AND I DIDN'T REMEMBER THE NAME!

You know, if I had a nickel for every game concerning whimsical worlds and mental disorder, which also had a doctor-adjacent character with brown hair and round glasses, I'd have two nickels. Not a lot, but weird that it happened twice.
...granted, the two characters I'm thinking about are polar opposites given the spoilers, but still. Weird.

It should be noted that the events of Little Misfortune confirm that the events of all KillMonday games are entirely literal. Everything Fran Bow experiences is real, in some sense, symbolic or otherwise. You can infer symbolic meaning from Fran Bow, but there is also a much larger story taking place.
If you look up the game "Little Misfortune" which is made by the same studio. We learn that those realities are in fact real. Because there is a lot of references between both games. And its stated by the developers that they are from a shared universe. Which they plan to expand with more games including a Fran Bow 2.

I Absolutely adored watching and listening to this and I enjoyed hearing your take on this! in my opinion this all makes sense to me and it like explains a lot i especially liked the part where you brung back fran being told she was not able to stay because she wasnt ready yet

Another great video! Some games I think you might like or shit you may already know because you’re cultured but if you can check out Mad Father, Misao and lastly World or Horror. I think you’d make some good videos on these games but World of Horror is a rogue like game so it might take you awhile too get through everything so it’s an investment for sure lol

Ignore this if you want but doesn't the game take place in N*zi Germany, from the names (Fran and Oswald being the most obvious), to the twin experiments and idk if this part us inspired or not but the siren from the hospital when Fran leaves sounds like a b*mb siren from that time period. Idk for sure because I'm tied between England and Germany for the location but I'm fairly certain this isn't America.

Oh, one of my favorite games I've played as a teenager! I loved how the reality and the other worlds started to mix in Fran's mind, not knowing what is real anymore. And really unique art style too.
Btw. Have you ever read goodnight punpun? It's a f up and depressive manga, but I think you will enjoy it.
