I first heard of this band when my son showed me the Jeb Corliss video about a year ago. My son focused on the jump, which was incredible, I focused on the song, and I was hooked. I'm 56 years old, always liked a wide variety of music, but through the decades I found there wasn't much of a new 'sound' out there,that interested me, and radio is a joke. Now, with the World Wide Web, I've broadened my music repertoire to not only Awolnation, but scores of other bands that I likely would never have heard of without the internet. I've lost 40 pounds listening to Awolnation, and other bands, I put in the ear buds, step on the elliptical and go. I listen when I'm at the grocery store and sometimes, while waiting for the coffee beans to grind I find it almost impossible to stand still. I hope they stay together a for decades to come.
This song has a Black Keys vibe to it and I love it. Aaron can really sing what he wants. For some reason this is one of my favorite Awolnation songs and I'm glad it sounds good live too.
I have to say awolnation is very refreshing and catchy.it'd be nice if they were on the radio more, they definitely deserve more recognition than some other bands . I listen to them everyday to work and after.this song is badass :-)
great musicians, watching them performing the song it makes it sound better......not normally my type of music but hey i have the album and played it about 5 times non stop....and i'm an old Dead Kennedys fan !
Saw em live from the PIT at The Woodlands Pavillion....GREAT show!! Had me and my friends moving and feelin good. Was really there to see Chevelle (and they were amazing) but AWOLNATION was such a beautiful surprise! Downloaded Megalithic Symphony that night...I'm a fan!
