@@Plutogalaxy I think I will just choose not to watch. Almost a cool video, but sometimes the subjects themselves do a much better job at setting the mood than the music ever could.

Drones don't record audio so it would be silent otherwise.
The Dash 7 is "The C-130" of light utility aircraft.
Dash 7 is a great plane. Rugged, powerful and great performance in difficult conditions.

Another fantastic Canadian built aircraft. Discontinued because it's 4 engines makes it a great STOL aircraft but a gas guzzler ... sadly.

Just run it without music. All we need is engine sound.
Top 5 preferences for audio content on aviation videos:
1. Live sound of the aircraft and/or the immediate environment.
2. ATC and/or any other relevant synchronous audio.
3. Commentary/narration.
4. Silence.
5. Music mixed low and narrow.
Gorgeous plane and climb out, I have never seen such a wild, remote setting with mountains all around. Well done!
There was an airline out of the Toronto Island Airport that used to fly these on regional routes back in the early eighties, called City Express.
I worked for them as a dispatcher in 1989. Dash 7s and 8s. I flew several times in the jump seat of both.
The owner was a foul mouthed bully who would yell and scream to get pilots out of bed at 4 am to cover a shift.
@@williamwilliam728 yes, I heard that he was less then a charming man. A former flight instructor of mine flew for them as well. I always thought they went out of business earlier so I am surprised to hear they were still flying into 1989.

I used to service them at 5AMU in Germany with the Canadian Armed Forces. Great aircraft!
There us to be a flight from Toronto Centre Island airport to Ottawa in the early nineties. My company flew me there for computer repairs. It was a great flight experience. The propellers barely seem to turn over. It was quite loud I remember.
Always preferred the look of the Dash 7 to the Dash 8.

This looks more like the Yukon. I have worked all over the Territories have never seen mountains. I also spent six winters in the diamond mines during the exploratory phases. Have taken super B Trains to Inuvik up the Dempster Highway year round. Yes the Yukon is Territory but it is not the Northwest territories. The Northwest territories is a lot flatter than this video.
