Excellent mood! That minor key kind of feel where you're not sure if something bad is coming, or life has already experienced the gloom and now we just live with it.
As a Los Angelino deep in the pit of the Metro Area who has listened to BR ambience, etc sometimes for days on end Yes like on loop for 24hours for days at a time....This particular video and music is too too much for me. It's too far into the future for me to comprehend. (I've yet to even watch BR2049 mind you, let alone prepare for Netflix's new BR 2099 offering....) excellent work is all one can say. Recalling an older LAPD Command Officer saying to his subordinate "It's too bad she won't live. But then again, who does?"

Los Angeles never sleeps, yet its a fever dream...
I watch from up here.. Rain sliding down these glass towers like liquid static, the city pulsing beneath me.
Everything moves fast, too fast. A million people in a million different realities, slipping deeper into whatever dream they paid for tonight. Some are flying over digital oceans. Some are gods in their own pocket universes. Some are just running from themselves.
And down there, mixed in, walking among them-are the ones who aren’t human anymore.
They call them the Limitless Ones.. Half AI, half flesh, engineered straight from the neural networks of corporations.
Some say they’re the next step. The next evolution of humanity. Some say they aren’t even people, just algorithms wearing skin. I don’t know what to think anymore. All I know is you can always tell one when you see one. They move too smooth. Talk like their words are pre-calculated. Eyes a little too sharp, like they see all the probabilities before they happen.
People say they envy them. The speed, the clarity, the lack of doubt. But me? I don’t trust anything *that* perfect.
Not that anyone cares what I think. Most people have already given in and blended their minds with the machine. And the scary part? They don’t even notice the difference. They love it. Who needs thoughts of their own when they can just download a better version..?
But I stay unplugged. I have to.
Because if I step back in, they’ll find me.
Doesn’t matter how many identities I burn through, how many backdoors I slip through, how many cracks I hide in. The moment I sync, I’m theirs again. And I didn’t crawl out of that prison just to hand myself back over.
So I watch from up here instead. Detached. Unseen. A ghost in a city of digital gods.
And weirdly enough, I still find peace in this world. In the little things. The sound of real rain, not a simulated version. The flicker of a glitch in a billboard, like the system is struggling to keep its illusions running. The rare sight of someone else-someone fully human-walking without an overlay, just feeling the cold air on their face.
Maybe that’s what’s left for people like me. The in-between spaces. The moments the machines can’t quite touch. The real...
For now, that’s enough.
