What a great challenge you pushed that E-Bike to its limits and it's looks like a really good bike. That was a really good range when you consider the weight of the E-Bike with those extra batteries. You did well Mate and what a lovely part of the country to do this test in brilliant.
Pistyll Rhaedr is not near to the town called Rhayader, you're getting the Welsh place names mixed up. Pistyll Rhaedr is much further North, not far from Llanfyllin/Oswestry. Rhayader is South of Lanidloes

Mate, if you take the front wheel off the bike, you can fit it in upright and still sleep in the back. I do this regularly with mine. It’s still cramped but gives you the space to sleep fully flat
tbf possibly could have done that but its a lot of work putting and off the wheel with a 35-40 kilo bike doable done it before but a bit of hassle, would have given me the space to sleep though your right 👍

need to carry some cable ties with a little bike repair kit, just for those moments the roads shake loose a bolt. I was thinking that bike had all the batteries connected through the frame and they'd switch automatically from each one, didn't realise it was just basically a rear pannier carrying them. Can't wait for solid state batteries to be a normal thing with ebikes, double the range, lighter and quick charging..future is looking brighter for ebikes..
yeh thought i was prepared guess theres always a few bits i forget :), did think the same about the batteries myself at first still great to have them for the range
Ordinarily I'm a combustion engine kind of guy, but the advancement of battery technology may see 1k+ mile range on these kind of bikes, and on a higher assist mode could make for a really enjoyable cycling journey for alot of people with various fitness levels. Great vid fella. 😊

If you Google build a roof tent or bushcraft build a roof tent or look on you tube there is plenty of info on how to make them. I remember watching a Bushcraft guy on you tube build one for his landrover discovery out of an old landrover roof as the flip up top. It is possible and not hard to do and can be done very cheaply. Hope this helps and you have a go at building one.

fantastic experience and you did brilliant as you always do .as for the bolts always use lock tight it’s like a glue but only on bolts that you want to stay there for a long time you can get them off with effort you can do it ❤ a star you are mate and i’m sure you knackered but fit next time test it in full electric mode have a rest lol 👍🤩
I loved this…you’re doing things that I dream of doing…..my ZOOMABILITY scooter only does 10 miles… so I go five and then have to turn back. I dream to do John o groats to lands end… fancy joining forces?😂 And regarding your boney bum issue that saddle is nice and wide but it looks rock hard…No memory foam and May I suggest some gel cycling knickerbockers Mr ? might stop the chaffing in nether regions…😊

You shouldn't knock the views your getting Adam. The channel is doing really well and more so it is about getting out and enjoying yourself which you do and make a few quid on the way plus you have a free bike win win 👍
Did you see that in one part of Wales they had the cycle bike race but had to divert it because of the 20 mph, as the cars wouldn't of been able to keep up with them I did laugh
To be fair it did a good job ... a lot of those miles would have been hard ones ... lil tip ... always carry a few zip ties and some duct tape ... they get you out of allsorts of trouble and don't weigh much ... big love ... peace me breadbin 😉

id say it depends on a few things what exactly you want it for and honestly how much your willing to pay, realistically there not a cheap thing but thats bikes these days all round if your want something decent ( guy i used to work with have an 8 grand road bike ) but from the ones ive reviewed this one is great for a bikepacking adventure without a doubt or good tours around peaks wales or lake for exxample, something more rugged go for a bit of off roading maybe down hill a bit ... the big cyrushers, ... nipping around town, a small stepthrough :) ... hope this gives you some ideas, there are a great bit of kit, id say in the perfect world though u need a way to transport them to the spot, van, bike rack etc
@wanderingwhere can u do few more bike reviews or can u plan do some Europe in car with bike be fun and when Morocco happen in car or biscuit tin been wait look forward to it
