I think it sounds amazing 😁👍 how big of a difference did the OS carburetor make ? I'm going to try one for the first time this weekend 😁 I would like to see you hook up the speed meter after the changes you made ✌️
@@Dre357 great to hear 👍 I was going to put one on the Revo last night but the throttle arm is much shorter bummer 😕 guess I will try it on something else .
Those carbs are not easy to tune the 3 needle makes it a little more complicated the thing is to make super small adjustments and just take your time getting the tune on point. Usually takes Me several tanks to get it perfect. Patience is key. Bash on brotha!!!!!
@Nitro_rc_life it's gotten easier for me and I love the way they perform after a decent tune. I always adjust 1 to 2 hours at a time and it works for me. Thanks for the info cause there are some that are having difficulty tuning. Nitro Gang #1! 🤙🏿
@Dre357 in my opinion 1 -2 hrs to get it close then I barely move the needle every adjustment to get a very precise tune you will notice much more power and cooler temps when you make fine adjustment it's crazy the difference in just the width of a hair
@@Dre357 I’m watching your video on the HPI savage XL gas. I’m interested maybe you can make a full video and how to do that conversation from Nitro to Gas?
@brauliomacias6626 awesome! it's not conversion. It's a HPI Savage XL Octane. I purchased it on eBay brand new. I believe you can still get one from the person who sold me one.
@@Dre357 I don’t even have a savage at the moment but I will buy one soon ..I’m looking to get the XL 5.9 was told that is the biggest they have in savage trucks and to be run in gas vs nitro make it sound more interesting
@brauliomacias6626 i believe the 5.9 and Octane are the same size. But, I don't have a 5.9 just smaller 4.6. The Octane is a different animal compared to the 4.6. I have a video on my channel showing both. I should check it out.
@Chapman1792 Those carbs sell as soon as they get them in stock. My suggestion is to check Amainhobbies.com, Horizonhobby.com and Ebay.com daily to perform a search for the carburetor. I've bought several carbs from just searching for "OS 11k carburetor" on Ebay. Good luck!

@michaelgraham2943 more low end torque and easier to tune for me. Will be doing a speed test in the future.

@@michaelgraham2943 use the one from the 3.3 carburetor. It's not an exact fit, but it'll work.

I gotta try nitro one day. drove them but never owned one. your idle desnt sound that bad, is the motor still in the break in period?
@@gamedogrc you should definitely get one! Yes, the engine is still young. About 10 tanks or so.
I thought it sounded great getting a 3.3 to idle like that is not easy 👍
@@Dre357 ok so does the idle change once it ages?
@GamedogRC somewhat. It changes greatly when I add that OS 11k carburetor though.
I totally forgot about nitro revo’s can also have a rear wing
@@brauliomacias6626 that's right! You can still have those bodies unpainted out there for sale as well. Thanks for watching!
