I did a trip from India to Egypt in early 2018. This video is about my experience from Delhi to Alexandria, Egypt with Saudia (airlines) and Jeddah airport where I had a long layover. For me, India to Egypt flight fare was Rs 17,000. I don't think you can get a cheap flight for Egypt than this!

Distance from Delhi to alexandria is 4517 km. And fare is 17000 ... 17000÷4517 so charge for 1 km is 3.5rs 😍😍😍.. even cheaper than ola cab

Greetings, Varun. I live in Jeddah - I understand that your experience at Jeddah Airport was not the best however there is another airport being constructed in Jeddah which will open up in around May/June 2018, this year. It has been awarded as one of the best designs and architect and it is huge and modern and can easily compete with Dubai and Qatars and other huge airports around the world. Whenever possible, please review that airport. The current one isn't the best.

You are correct, there are lots of facilities available for free water.
These are the reasons why plane took off again all of a sudden:
-An unstable approach or landing, resulting from pilot error, excessive cross or tail winds, touching down too fast or bouncing
-A vehicle or aircraft entering the runway
-An instruction from Air Traffic Control
-Wrong aircraft configuration (i.e. the pilots haven’t selected the flaps fully down, which would inhibit braking action)
-Brakes are not working correctly (or auto brakes are required, but have no been selected on)

There is a info to share that jeddah airport provides free Wifi but u must carry a Saudi sim.
Attention: I don't mean to criticize anyone but this is my personal experience here in jeddah
That guy who was asking u for 25-30 riyals was just a thug, even a for a pushcart trolly they will ask the new passengers 10 riyal charge while it is free service by Airport authority.

I made the mistake of taking a Saudi Airlines flight from Toronto to Jeddah to New Delhi and I must say, it was the worst experience of my entire life! The Jeddah airport HAS to be the worst airport in the entire world. It’s immoral to force so many people into such a tight space. In addition, there are not enough seats, only one FILTHY bathroom, WiFi didn’t work, and the local staff are rude. The staff does not know a single word of English. They all speak Arabic among themselves, and assume travelers speak Arabic as well. You would be lucky to find a seat to sit on. I had to sit on the cold floor during my 5 hour lay-over. Avoid traveling through Saudi Arabia.
Maybe if you had taken lounge access for $20, you could have avoided sitting on the cold floor?!
