my parrot singing a fragment of the Magic Flute by W. A. Mozart...he learnt it very fast.
He died from a unknown disease with just 15 years old.
im very sad, cause he was my little friend and very special to me.

I am an opera singer and have sung this aria myself. This is fantastic, a wonderful rendition. :) I was laughing and crying all the time through the video. RIP Menino
I like how he looks so proud of himself when he does it, too. He puffs out his chest and rocks his head around trying to make sure that everyone sees him do the song. Parrots are so funny. I want one.

Hello ..I just found this video today ...I love it...so sad to know that he passed away. I love this opera ...I went to see it about four months ago...I keep playing this video over and over it is just amazing

I like how he puts his wings out while singing to make it more dramatic.
I was very sad when I saw that Menino had died. His video has brought joy to my parrots for years. When they're mad and won't stop squawking, playing Menino for them is the only way to make them happy again. He was a beautiful boy.

What a shame he had to go so young! He was clearly loved. The hardest part of owning parrots is that, though they may live much longer than your dog, when they get sick the illness strikes fast, and so often there's nothing you can do for them.

I have an Amazone parrot too and he is older than me
He is a part of the family for his whole life but he doesn t talk much anymore like he normally do.
Maybe its because he moved away from my parents.
Years later he started to talk some baby talk and he learned some sounds.
I learned him to give me his phaw on command : )

I am very sad he passed away, and know how you feel. My parrot died 10 years ago at the age of 20 at christmas.
He was my friend and i miss him.
