The Robot use to be a med bot. They reprogrammed him to harvest organs but they forgot to override his old program. So he still heals people even though the potheads repurposed him for something else.
far out

Not just that…The deal was 2 months supply for a near mint condition female. Snip snip said to bring her in for evaluation. In order to make the trade he needed to make her “near mint condition”. Putting a missing finger back on was what needed to be done for that.
@@bradkirchhoff5703 She was already near mint condition. The Ghoul originally said mint condition before downgrading to “near mint condition” on account of missing finger. The deal was for a woman with 9 fingers for 60 vials.
@@shanustheanus You might want to look up the types of Mr. Handy. There isn’t just butler Mr handy, they had all sorts. Including medical ones and combat types.
She both literally and figuratively wanted him to fill Burt’s shoes.
Now if only the dudes on the couch were watching "Ow My Balls" the scene would have been perfect...
Looks like the Ghoul also has the cannibal perk activated aside from the bloody mess
The Ghoul couldn’t take the chest of drugs cause in the game you can only search the chest and take the contents.
Lol oh no I didn't think of that.
Damn, good catch
There were a lot of scenes filmed in the Skeleton Coats of Namibia. There's a ghost town there, where the desert is reclaiming the buildings. They have rooms half filled with drifted sand.
About fixing the robot for herself.
She's fresh out the vault.
Her science isn't high enough yet 😜
She haven't put perk in Robotic Expertise.
The Voice of Snip Snip is Matt Berry from What We Do In The Shadows.
The rat experiment that's referenced in this episode is worse that just cannibalism due to starvation. It was an experiment on how even in a place with unlimited supplies of food, space and nesting material after a certain number of generations the population would cap naturally and the behaviours that kept them alive outside degraded. Without predators, food pressures or living space constraints and lacking any way to avoid one another, the rats behaviours would change and gradually they'd degenerate into dysfunction. Some rats gather around where the food was dispensed and attack one another, others would spend their time alone at the highest spots in environment like hermits, others groomed themselves compulsively to the exclusion of mating, but the one through line in the experiment was that they all displayed a loss of life-maintaining behaviours. Those rats transplanted into otherwise natural environments didn't recover, they had lost even the most basic skills to keep themselves alive.
It wasn't caused by resources or space but by forced social interaction. And the really scary part is since the Advent of smartphones and "always being connected" humans are beginning to show the same behaviors. Apparently everybody always being connected through the Internet also counts as forced socialization.
Literally just turn your phone off bruh @@markcarpenter6020
@@markcarpenter6020 This is why everyone is so toxic these days.
Way back when I got "internet" you had to have a more than average knowledge to connect up to the web with modems and such.
So you could be sure that anyone you met online was like you, then "smart phones" came and it was a breeze to go online.
Now rarley anyone you meet online is like you, you are constantly forced to walk on eggshells, it puts a strain on people.
So everyone just revert back to being cavemen, it's the easiest way.
@@BolinFoto ohh it's worse than cave man. Look up the mouse utopia experiments. The results are the stuff horror movies are made of. And it inevitably leads to a complete social and population collapse. And I am not talking just a die off, I'm talking colony extinction. The mice almost completely stopped reproducing and when they did produce children the babies were ignored and left to die (when not straight up killed)
"Though shall be sidetracked by bullshit every goddamn time" is the the truest statement there ever is. You get sidetracked by so much shit in the games 😂
I think they could've gotten more jerky out of Roger... I guess they were in a hurry.
Definitely in a hurry for sure to get to the meds.
Additionally, I'll add that I thought Cooper fed on Roger so he could maybe pick up some of the medicinal effects to stave off the ferality a bit longer. Or he could've just been regular feeding too. Just a thought.
@@charlie7mason i also believe this. one of my theories as to the medicine is that it's made from ghouls somehow and that's why the drug dealers had so many ghouls prisoners.
@@666FallenShadow Yeah, that would certainly be very interesting if it was the case, however, I think the meds are just supposed to be something regular if not just rad-x, no?
😮WOW Mrs.! That water bottle/jug/bazooka thing.
9:15 the irony of the Golden Rule. He followed her advice to the letter.
The way Lucy's face goes from panic to that determined smile when she realizes the defibrillator actually will take care of Snip Snip is great.
He delivered her to the MART!
I love this show. They've expanded upon the classic 60's movie A boy and His Dog!! Now that movie is worth a watch to get the similarities. And in this altered timeline where is seems non of the trauma of slavery happened - there was no blues, gospel or rock n roll so the music is that happy dappy mess from the 40's and 50's I remember so well.
*1975
@@zombiTrout ur right. I always thought that was a late 60's flick.
please dont let her put you down! we need more game lore and we love a man of culture! :D
She didnt put him down. She wants a fresh/blind experience and he understands. Im sure Mr have or will talk about fallout out of camera to Mrs until her ears fall off 😄
@@takewhataway I hope so! :D

Amazon probably wanted it weekly but Nolan didn't. He knew how toxic fans would get with the weekly theorizing.
I started playing FO3 again and I was trying not to rely on this targeting system you get in it called VATS, making it harder. I've given up on that idea now... You go to a Super Duper Mart as a very early mission. It wasn't easy at all!
The show is faithful to the Fallout story. The games are different, there's a hell of a lot more random encounters and fights. Different medium etc. But the show feels like a Fallout story.
Have a good mother's day tomorrow mrs movie
It's odd, the show never once mentioned ghouls as lesser than other people, just that they can go feral if not getting their medicine, hell one of the main characters is a ghoul who is one of the most capable people on the show. But almost every single reactor asks why Lucy lets the ghouls free when they're imprisoned in a place that is used to harvest their organs. For me it's akin to zombies. If a person is a person they're a person but they turn to a zombie kill them. If a ghoul is a ghoul they're a person but if they turn feral then kill them.
The discrimination is hinted at several times even if it’s not explicitly stated. When they dug up the ghoul, two of the guys were very against the idea of doing business with a muted, and Ma June says that “his kind” is not welcome in Filly. I think Roger says something about smoothskins being hard on him as well. Plus, there’s the fact that they’re all trussed up for sale, presumably either as food or slaves, in the super duper mart. I like how they show it without hitting us over the head with it, a nice subtle touch.
The fact that he did not just box-up that chest of meds drives me nuts! 🤬
the one and only thing i disliked about the show , is how they made it to were all ghouls turn feral if they don't constantly drug up with a drug (and they never specify what drug it is). that's just not how ghouls have been in game.
in the games it was always a toss up on rather or not a ghoul turned feral or turned into a "normal" ghoul , not even the dose of radation was the cause , just some ghouls had their brains rot and became ferals while other ghouls didn't.
all teh dead vault dwellers were in vault 32 , not 31 . they were trying to get into vault 31 though.
It may be that the show only shows the ghouls that need the serum in the first season. The ghoul that are naturally resistant to feralizing(?) may show up later since the creators are saying that the games are still canon.
@@placeboobshere5458 yeah i know , but so far as i know , i've never seen a ghoul in game that had to constantly drug up to stave off going feral.
it's really not that big of an issue to me , was saying it the only thing i fiind fault in with the show. as it stands i love the show it's the best damn game based media (movie or show) i've seen so far. and even taking that away, The show as a stand alone product, isn't slapping us in the face every 5 mintues preaching activism at the viewers like sooo many other shows do today.
@@DenverStarkey I agree it is a bit of a funny retcon moment. They'll probably say the ghouls in the games that had to take it were ashamed and did it in private. It wouldnt be impossible for them to hide it since it seems they only have to take it once a day.
Think you missed that 32 had been dead for over 2 years but the mum opened the door only 6months earlier
The old school wwf raw is war t-shirt 🤘🏻🤘🏻
Yes, it FEELS very Fallout despite the issues with the writing and inserted propaganda. At least it is low tone and a lot better than all the other drek we've been getting out of Hollywood lately.
I’m pretty sure those are synthetic fingers
We need a Ghoul and Venus Van Dam crossover!
Oh this is by far the most accurate video game adaptation of all time.. The only thing that rivals it is The Last of Us.. which.. that is hard to compare, as they were adapting the actual story from the game into the show.. where as, of course.. this is all just, their own fresh story. Visually.. At least as far as Fallout 4 etc goes.. It's absolute perfection. AND it did SO fucking well.. that excites me to no end.. Considering the world.. they could go ANYWHERE with the story. I want to see Norm come to the surface and be a badass.
Goggins makeup is amazing. He actually looks like a ghoul, even close up . . .
No. He looks like a burn victim a ghoul looks like a corpse. They can do ghoul. Most of the ghouls look great but he looks like Deadpool.
@@markcarpenter6020 He was near multiple nuclear explosions , that would burn you pretty badly . He seems to be both burned and ghoul . We'll end up seeing what happened to him and his family eventually .
@@bryanobrien2726 he wasn't close enough to burn though he would have had radiation poisoning. Those were actually very very low yield nukes. If it has been even as large as the nukes used in WW2(fairly small bombs) they would have been inside the mushroom cloud of the first bomb.
@@markcarpenter6020 Again , we haven't even seen what happens to him , there's no way to know . I'm guessing that there'll be an emotional episode that shows him refuse to go into the vault for some noble reason at which point he might be nearer to ground zero for an explosion .
We don't know his entire origin story yet which could very well explain the burns is all that I'm saying .
@@bryanobrien2726 ok I can accept that we just don't know

Amazing show. Amazing game. Amazing reaction 🎉
Mr Handy is handy. It can't not be handy. It has to make everything in its presence work properly. Even if its due to be terminated.
15:35 Your next unboxing there's going to be lots of flashlights in there!
You are my favorite reactors to stuff, great humor especially Mrs. Have a great mother's day.
Not all ghouls are cannibals
in the game you can't take the chest. only it's conents.
Ghoul is so mean
Gonna drop a odd and unexpected reaction suggestion, but you guys should consider reacting to Hazbin Hotel. 8 episodes, animated, 16+ rating, and very charming.
"Previously" only plays if you don't watch episodes uninterrupted.
As for why Snip-Snip repaired her finger, you get two parts that allude to this. First, it references how its chronometer is not working. Secondly, when it birings out Lucy on the stretcher, she is presented for processing. The guys say to do her now to get the next shipment, but they may have very well told it to store Lucy in one of the glass cases.
Snip-Snip wouldn't know what they wanted done ahead of time, so of course he'll fix up to get to near 'mint condition' while they sit on ice.
Well when ya binge ya take in a lot at once, so a recap can still be useful.
Yes like it 😊 just like the game
"NO SPOILERS!"
Cool
Story is better than any of the games
You clearly haven't played the games, except for maybe 76 which is the worst one
😁👍
This episode cleansed the palate of that dunce Max, and then all the episodes left are very good.
The Ghoul can easily grow his trigger finger back
No he can’t. They may be able to heal a little quicker than a regular human can but ghouls can’t grow anything back. Hence the missing nose.
You get more money for a complete hand than one with missing fingers. In the game, you can only pick up the viles of drugs and not the box they're in.
Lucy needs some rad away
cant sell the hand without the finger. i didnt relize till now but that one ghoul in the fridge had a baby in her arms. how did i miss that.
Why not? The robot is harvesting organs. Why would buyers care if a liver they're buying came from someone who was missing a finger?
It's really a shame that this series deteriorates and makes less and less sense with the games' plot as it goes on... guess it wasn't a good sign that the three dudes they wrote to be the main Brotherhood of Steel guys are the most wimpy, whiny, weak, dialogue-barfing and cowardly characters imaginable - the exact opposite of the BoS. Todd Howard really doesn't like Fallout New Vegas (and it shows) because it's by far the best Fallout, because it wasn't made by Bethesda.
The reason the robot reattached the finger first was to improve her grading. The ghoul stated she was "near mint" but since the robot is coming from a sellers perspective, he wanted to improve that rating to Mint Condition by making sure every digit was accounted for (regardless of its individual condition.) A mint donor fetches higher prices in the market. Typical corporate hooliganism in defrauding its consumers
she is soooo dead
This show is so unbelievably underwhelming. Yawn zzz
There's No Fudge Here
(just ass jerky)
its his medical programming
Of all the horrors of monsters in the Fallout universe, Feral Ghouls scare the shit out of me everytime haha. The way they will find you, in a massive building, thinking you've killed them all, looting some stuff and then BAM! Sneak Attack!
They are unbearable in Fallout 4 VR.
Just like you said, I keep thinking they are dead, keep looting stuff, looking at my Pip-Boy, stabbing myself with stimpack, etc, then hear the footsteps and the quiet snarling behind me and I get 3 heart attacks in 2 seconds.
I agree that the series successfully replicates the player experience exhibiting different builds. The character's plot armor even makes sense given the save game mechanic. This series is quite suited for fans of apocalyptic media. Damnation Alley and The Atomic Cafe are fun too.
A Boy and His Dog (1975, Don Johnson).
@@PatriotRebelIt is definitely an underrated film. The original source material alongside the comics remains quite entertaining.
i am pretty sure the vault 32 people superglued their overseer's face into that smile.
the big bottle of glue was suggestive of something
INTJ- have her play the games. not a command just a suggestion.
There's a lot of great things about this show and then there's some stuff that isn't lore. Reaper does a very good episode breakdown of things. I recommend watching it once done with the series, just on your own.
Something I noticed only recently, the voiceover for the mouse / rat demonstration is someone from the series in character.
"hiiiaja" and the girls woke up
Coming from a raider must have been real bad

She was advertised as being in near mint condition, and Snip-Snip sees the finger and says that won't do at all. His task is to get a near mint female to the guys who programmed him, so he repairs the finger.
