Kawasaki designed the bar position to give the rider a slight lean forward to take the weight off your tailbone. By raising the bars and bringing them rearward the Eliminator will feel more cuiser like, but it would also put more weight on your tailbone, This is fine for short rides around town, but on a long ride it might not be a good thing. I do not find the stock bars agressive, more like a standard bike. Either way the Eliminator is a great bike, light weight, easy to ride, easy on fuel, flickable, will cruise at highway speeds all day long, and most of all FUN to ride. Thanks for the video, ride safe and enjoy every journey.
Thanks for these Eliminator videos! There's not much English speaking content creators out there discussing accessories, mods, etc for it. I was worried a bar riser setup like this would stretch the cables too far. Good to know that's not the case.
I added riser blocks to my Eliminator, (the cables barely reached), and like you I had to buy shorter bolts. Check those bolts from time to time, the bolts on my z400 worked loose so beware. I also added a cheap chinese, Amazon slip- on to the Eliminator which works great and saved some 10 pounds of unecessary weight, (get the slip-on with the two exhaust holes, I paid like 60 dollars), and lastly I got a Sun-Pie gel cushion for the seat as I wanted my legs a little more streched out. Lovin' the Eliminator so far!
a.co/d/dimGGdh those are the risers I used. I also had to get some short Allen bolts from Tractor Supply, I just matched up the threads from the stock bolts I had taken out. There’s also some on Amazon that look pretty similar, but have the eliminator name etched right on them if that’s of value to you.
Hi from Bundaberg Australia 🇦🇺🍹 ive been trying to decide between the Kawasaki Eliminator 450 & the Royal Enfield Guerrilla 🤔🤔 Eliminator has a Slipper Clutch hasn't it ??? The Enfield has abit more technology 🤔 i might have to just toss a coin to decide 😂😂 Cheers from Aus 🇦🇺🕺👍
Yes, the Eliminator has a slipper clutch and an extremely light clutch pull. If you get the SE version, it will add an awkwardly placed usb port to charge your devices, and the eliminators all have Bluetooth to connect to Kawi’s Rideology app. I don’t know how that stacks up to the Guerrilla though, I haven’t seen one stateside as of yet.

Very helpful video.
Q/what brand/part number are the risers you installed?
