Crazy, that GSXR of that era was the most dominant bike on the planet. It was winning it was winning in AMA, WSBK and BSB. And Spies wiped on Mladin like three years in a row before he left WSBK and won his first year. Dude was a beast.

Yeah, the finish this year was just amazing. Not my favorite track but it sure provides some close racing in all classes.
So weird... this happened again in race 2 this year (2008). It was almost identical. I felt like I was watching a repeat.
SPEED channel in the U.S. -- they seldomly show things live, but you can watch AMA, WSBK, and MotoGP.
I miss SPEED channel dearly.

All the talk about Spies. Mladin wore his ass out. For 4 years. And the series did everything they could to Help Spies. Sad.

Spies never dragged his elbows. He got the nickname "Elbows" because he rode with his elbows sticking out, but they were high, not dragging.
