so my friends of the library bookstore has a ton of cds, they don't have the cases, just the covers with the cd in a baggie. I don't think they are more then 1$ apiece if that. They are listed alphabetically. I don't know a thing about cd's AND i know it will take several trips haha. Any advice on how to start?

Do you know any of the artists or titles of the top of your head? CDs are worth the most when the full artwork is there, meaning both the front and back cover. Cases can be purchased in bulk for around .50 each on eBay. If you’re able to see the CDs/artwork, I would take some pictures or write down some of the artist names next time you’re there so that you can later research and look them up on eBay. The other thing that concerns me about these is that the CDs are in a baggie, so more than likely they’re probably scratched quite a bit. If the CDs are pretty scratched and you have no machine to clean them, then they’ may not be worth buying. Let me know what else you find out and I can help you.

@@mediapicker2205 okay when I go next week I can just start with letter A and check the condition and see if they have both the front and back art. They may only have the front art. Also I only would recognize: older jazz especially scat, old bluegrass like the Dale pickin' group, a few older blues, stereotype classical, original country, and music of the 50s through grunge .I lost track of music after grunge. I can recognize alternative punk rockabilly etc. I never was into mainstream or gospel and I believe those would be more common anyway? I have listened to a lot of different types of music over the years but am not knowledgeable. thanks THANKS!!

Why do you put ( ) around cd and then put a comma? I always feel that waste characters.

Don’t know. I just do. Habit I guess. I rarely need the characters they use. I might have a few listing that aren’t like that in my store.
