What questions do you have about mechanisms? Understanding them is the cornerstone to understanding organic chemistry. I plan to make more videos on this topic!
Best chemistry professor on the internet! I’ve watched many channels and yours is head and shoulders above the others, for me at least. Your teaching suits my way of thinking perfectly and your pacing is spot on.
I would love it if you could make a video that explains all the steps and reaction mechanisms of some common chemical reactions. For example, mixing baking soda and vinegar, and perhaps explaining the differences of a carbonate + acid reaction versus a bicarbonate + acid reaction. Any explanation you find online is just way too simple and intended for children.
That's a great suggestion! Thanks! It will have to wait a couple of months because I'm currently engrossed in a series of lab technique "how to" videos for my actual teaching job.

Having passed organic with an A, I _still_ can't understand certain rearrangements. They just..."happen."
Great idea for a video! They generally involve some unstable intermediate that becomes more stable if some group shifts.

Thank you! I'm glad my videos are helpful!
You are an incredible teacher! Please make videos detailing the types of mechanisms and also about catalysts in the process. Thank you and big hug
Thank you! I'd love to make that video some day.
You're such a good teacher. Thank you so much
Your explanations gave relief for lot of probs in chem....Thank you !
This is a really great video & is super impressive, but I'm more impressed on how you managed to draw backwards lol. Thank you ◡̈
Very well presented and explained! 😊
Thank you!

Thank you! such a good explanation
I'm glad it was helpful!😄
This video helped me a lot. I'm grateful
I'm glad to hear. Thanks!
fantastic
Thanks!
