Really needed a laugh as my 66 year old sister in law passed away suddenly on Sunday, just days before the birth of her first grandchild. I have a large collection of the blue chicken dinnerware. Received 6 plates as a Christmas gift...grew to coffee, tea cups, huge bowls, platters, containers, etc. Bloomingdales even had table lamps at one time. Very popular in Chicago & NYC in the '80's '90's. So fun.

I have a strawberry tree in my garden, I initially thought it was just an ornamental tree and didn’t realise the fruit was edible, although I don’t think it tastes much of strawberries 😂by the way I love your Austrian dirndl dress xx

My friends in the north of the country are very concerned, so I have my fingers crossed these steps now will slow it down. It’s a real dilemma for you regarding Skye coming home for half term, with numbers increasing in the uk too, she may need to quarantine there too on her return. I had been thinking about Skye and whether she would be able to travel to Italy in the near future. I follow "Travel Beans" on TH-cam who are from England. They decided to make a quick bee-line back to England by 4 a.m. today(Sunday) so they would not have to quarantine for 2 weeks. They had been touring southern Italy. That was great to see Carlos' son cooking the tuna for your lunch, he's going to make some young lady very happy to have him in the home. Congratulations Elizabeth and Pepe on one year of marriage, you all looked so beautiful and the food too. I had to look up the strawberry bush/tree, I had never heard of it before. Lovely Fall walk/hike, love this time of year. Enjoy!

Thanks for sharing your life in Positano, it is so soothing an relaxing to watch. I live in Texas an the virus is sort of on a downward swing here but still have to be very cautious. The northern states the virus is going very strong unfortunately. Hopefully soon we can see it all go away but I don't think it will be till the spring.
Lovely video. I have been wondering if there are wild persimmons there. They are currently in season where I am in the south east of US, and on my twice daily walks into the woods with my dog we forage the incredible fruit. Most people don't know about them so our competition is mainly deer and squirrels. My dachshund is crazy for them. I am unfamiliar with the strawberry tree. They must be a good little treat. I just love the view up in the mountains! In Crete we have this healing, therapeutic and aromatic herb dittany that grows high in the mountains, it's a treasure to find ...it is protected by European law though but we can find the cultivated one. Strawberry tree was something new to me , although it must grow here in Crete too..i 'll look for it , thank you Nicki , great idea for garden . How high is this place you went hiking ?

Happy anniversary to Elisabeth and Pepe! The outfits were beautiful and you all looked wonderful. So I have a question regarding Positano. If one wishes to visit during the winter, where does one stay if hotels are closed or eat if restaurants have shut down? Not that I’ll be traveling anywhere soon but I like a quiet winter beach town sometimes. Stay safe. This pandemic is not ending anytime soon and it’s sad that so many people are nonchalant about it and continue to party and fight over masks.

Your hair is looking lovely. Lemon and ginger tea is my favourite. I like to fast until dinner a few days a week and that tea gets me through.

Strawberry tree: Arbutus Morena, I had two in my front yard in San Diego! Gorgeous bark on the trunk but huge mess during Fall when they drop the strawberries!! not great to eat but such a beautiful tree

Thanks for sharing your life in Positano, it is so soothing an relaxing to watch. I live in Texas an the virus is sort of on a downward swing here but still have to be very cautious. The northern states the virus is going very strong unfortunately. Hopefully soon we can see it all go away but I don't think it will be till the spring.

Lovely video. I have been wondering if there are wild persimmons there. They are currently in season where I am in the south east of US, and on my twice daily walks into the woods with my dog we forage the incredible fruit. Most people don't know about them so our competition is mainly deer and squirrels. My dachshund is crazy for them. I am unfamiliar with the strawberry tree. They must be a good little treat. Loved all your content and now I am curious about the "tiny house." Did I miss a chapter? You squeeze so much into such a small foot print! Thank you for another chapter of your Positano life. Ciao!

I just loved the outfits! It is October as well so fitting in with Oktoberfest / Bavarian Beer fest theme. :-) Also I think Waitrose, etc should sponsor your channel when you do cooking vlogs. Everytime I see 'recipe' in the title I know that afterwards I will be taking a walk to my Waitrose to go shop for ingredients! :-)

Yet another mouth watering vlog. The meal cooked at home looked delicious and then the meal with your friends and the children looked super. Heard Campania was introducing restrictions. I hope you are all OK. Here in Melbourne we are still in lockdown but some of the restrictions have been relaxed (whoopee). Masks are still compulsory. Sadly the pandemic is real, but so are some goverments using it to futher their agenda. Like my own country. The real pandemic now is hunger and poverty, breaks my heart. @@claudetteduplessis4345 I don't understand why you believe governments use covid for their agenda, if you live in a democratic country (by your name France, maybe Belgium?) you know well that when everything over, all current governments will pay a lot in elections for this pandemic story (regardless of whether they worked well or badly), because it will happen like after wars (and this is a war), people will want to change to never see their faces again.
This has always happened, and it will happen this time too, why they should make appears something more serious than really is? Sorry (for my "eng" firstly) but it doesn't make sense.
@@lazios hi Lazzios, I live in South Africa. Unfortunately our goverment have by its own admission decided to use the pandemic for economic reform. I do think you are absolutely right regarding coming elections. Our covid relieve funds has been looted by goverment officials and one of the stricest lock downs has left us with a lot of poverty and starvation. I am just baffled that goverments now decide not to take tge WHO advice in not enforcing lockdowns. I am no expert, just hoping this pandemic will soon be behind us. Stay safe and take care

I just love the view up in the mountains! In Crete we have this healing, therapeutic and aromatic herb dittany that grows high in the mountains, it's a treasure to find ...it is protected by European law though but we can find the cultivated one. Strawberry tree was something new to me , although it must grow here in Crete too..i 'll look for it , thank you Nicki , great idea for garden . How high is this place you went hiking ?

Happy anniversary to Elisabeth and Pepe! The outfits were beautiful and you all looked wonderful. So I have a question regarding Positano. If one wishes to visit during the winter, where does one stay if hotels are closed or eat if restaurants have shut down? Not that I’ll be traveling anywhere soon but I like a quiet winter beach town sometimes. Stay safe. This pandemic is not ending anytime soon and it’s sad that so many people are nonchalant about it and continue to party and fight over masks.
It is a pleasure to see that at one stage you had the ability to eat together when celebrating, The food looked lovely.
