This was so lovely and that arcade with all the beautiful lights just looked amazing. It must be lovely to be able to visit proper Christmas Markets like this. I loved the look of that crystal shop, it looked wonderful with the books and decks upstairs too. Loved watching this 😍❤️
@@the_hermits_cave Looks like you actually missed the main Christmas market, which is in and around city square, near the main train station. I can't see you did any filming there at all. We visit all the time from Nottingham. The Leeds Dock area south of the river is also a great place, with free entrance to the Royal armouries, You can get a water taxi from Granary Wharf.
This looks like it was such a lovely time! The covered shopping promenade (where you mentioned noticing high-end shops) reminded me of La Galleria in Milan (I was lucky enough to do a semester abroad as an undergrad in Italy, studying Venetian architecture, and took a side trip to Milan on one of the free weekends). The architecture 😍, the carousel, the communal roasting of marshmallows, and that underground eatery all looked fun! Though I can only last in busy places like that for so long before it starts becoming sensory overload. Thanks for sharing!
