- Curious about what this hermit got up to in New York? Grab a coffee, get cozy, and settle in-this one’s a bit of a journey. It’s the longest vlog I’ve ever recorded (and that’s after some serious editing)!

I am SO IMPRESSED! I don't know how you managed to assemble this lengthy vlog so quickly. I loved the addition of the jazz background music - so New York. I've spent the better part of my Sunday watching all of this and remembering my little appearances in it (I need to take special critical note of how I'm dressed; I never see me from others' viewpoints. Obviously I dress for comfort, not for fashion. (my shirttails hanging out the pants ballooning over my socks! Horrors! lol.) It was great being able to spend time with you while you were here. I can't believe all the walking you guys got in. I haven't even seen most of these things and I've lived here for 50 years!
You looked absolutely fine! It’s important to be comfortable in New York I would imagine, just from my short spell there. It was a lovely experience spending time with you Robin, I really appreciated you making the effort. Happy memories have been made this last week.

I was born in Massachusetts and spent a lot of time in Boston and New York when i was young. It was so nice to see all the Beautiful views and all the cool places you all went. Simon you picked a fantastic time to visit NYC. It’s really the prettiest time of year. I worked in Macy’s for many years and have wonderful memories. The city is jammed packed with buildings and you jammed packed so many activities. You did a great job of vlogging your adventures. Loved this! So good to see Jen from Balanced Tarot...I learned a lot when she hosted live get-togethers. We took our young adult children to NYC in 2023. We sat in the exact same spot at Cafe Reggio when we visited. I am not a big city girl (from a dairy farm community in Ohio) but I really enjoyed our visit!

Amazing perspective from a foreign traveler. ❤ I had permissive parents who wanted me to have adventures and a train station two blocks away in CT so even as kids, my friend and we could pop into NYC for fun. Your NYC is a lot shinier and cleaner than my one. I love seeing the city through the eyes of appreciative visitors. I had just watched the John Wick movies and your Central Park sites were heavily featured. I laughed at your Trump Tower comment. Everything looked wonderful. ❤

Elle has been in the US for two and a half years. They moved to NY almost a year ago.

Home is always where the heart is, but loved every second of the trip. Least favourite was the sheer amount of scammers, and how somethings were extortionately priced. So many highlights. Dumbo, Brooklyn bridge, empire state, Wicked on Broadway etc. 😍
What an amazing trip! Thank you for taking us along on this fabulous adventure. I’ve never thought about going to New York, but now I want to go and check it out.
Oh you really should. My top tips would be to wear comfortable shoes and take plenty of cash! 😜

I adore Central Park, probably my favorite place. I haven’t been there since 2005. That Caffe Reggio’s looked like an interesting, historical location, one worth visiting. Your hosts were lovely.
