I definitely prefer this song than Donkey Pot Pie. It's way more catchy and amazing. Dragon u r not a monster, u r a beauty don't let others bring u down. 🙌🙌
How they get the dragon around from place to place is by taking it apart into prices and storing them if you haven't noticed the dragons body is made of fabrics painted with latex both are very flexible materials so it's easy to fold them up and basically put them in a huge box

The cast was very loveable from start to finish. It was great to see the changes in lyrics and sets from the Broadway run to the Tour. Sandra was a fantastic understudy. She had really great riffs and it was not difficult at all seeing her as Fiona. She had great comedic timing. Eric was pretty good as Shrek. He was a little hard to understand, but other than that he was great. Alan was a perfect Donkey. He really brought the character off the screen. Alan was perfect with his comedic timing. Although at sometimes seemed as if he was trying to upstage everyone. Carrie has a powerful voice. Her "Forever" literally sent shivers down my spine. Includes the curtain call. The DVD was filmed in a 16:9 ratio in a combination of wides, mediums, and close-ups. The only obstruction is a head in the very middle of the screen and one off to the side. Both are only visible in the wides. They are shot around as best a possible. The heads are only there in the wides and only really noticeable during the first act. There are kind of a lot of blackouts, due to this being my second master and the ushers walking up and down the rows. There are four main blackouts that last between 1 minute to 7 minutes. Other than those four major blackouts all the rest are very minor 20-30 second ones. The first act has the second half of the Good Bye Song missing and the second act has the first 2 and a half minutes missing from "Morning Person". There are a couple of washouts that occur. Theyare randomly dispersed so it doesn't affect the video too much. At a couple of times the DVD is a little blurry but other than that it is pretty good. The DVD includes a virtual copy of certain pages of the playbill.
I got casted as Donkey in Shrek at Casa Manana(theatre in Texas) and originally, I was really upset we were doing this song instead of Donkey Pot Pie cuz that's the song I grew up with. Hell, I went and saw it in a theatre when I was little and they did Donkey Pot Pie, but damn, am I excited now! still a little upset I won't be able to sing donkey's part in Donkey Pot Pie because I like his part in that one better than in this one, but I still get to sing Don't Let Me Go, so I'll live lol.
My High School’s version of the Musical used a cardboard Dragon, that was carried by two people. It was unable to change expression, so another actress in a dragon “costume” stood to the side of the stage, and sang. It was hilarious.

adriennegoodie Actually, that would be quite interesting. Though they'd have to change the donkey part to female (but hey this is 2017, that part doesnt matter) but yeah, it would be great to see a male dragon part. I'd especially like to hear the singing part as a guy. that would be so cool!

I definitely prefer this song than Donkey Pot Pie. It's way more catchy and amazing. Dragon u r not a monster, u r a beauty don't let others bring u down. 🙌🙌
I totally agree. It's far more catchy and makes Dragon more sympathetic,
Highly agree, it gives Dragon so much more depth than Donkey Pot Pie. I do like both songs, but I prefer Forever
Donkey pot pie is not…my favorite at all
i agree! i love the extra backstory/personality this gives to dragon
In this right now and being a backup singer in the stocks is probably the best thing I’ve ever done
Seems like every different country has a key change from the original song
tiggle5485 might be because not everyone can sing the same notes, so they have to lower the key
Ikr, I personally agree with you
I love this different key changes. I think this song fits multiple keys very well
I definitely prefer this over donkey pot pie. Donkey and dragon’s relationship is just much more organic here.
Same here
Isn’t donkey pot pie and forever both in the same musical
@@NM-hp4eodifferent versions, Donkey Pot Pie is broadway, Forever is off broadway
When she spreads her wings and flys. Omg
I get chills every time she starts to fly
That puppet is so awesome.
In our version Donkey was a girl and it was hilarious 😂
Ours was too and she was great😂

Yay I’m playing dragon in Shrek the musical !
WOW that's awesome & your so good
me too!!
At the end of the song, when Donkey and The dragon were running off stage. Was donkey saying. “ OH Sh*t! OH SH*T! “ Cuz it sounded like it...
Actually, he's yelling out for Shrek for help, but given the audio quality and how quickly he says it, it's easy to mishear it.
Probably my favorite role to play! Singing this is so much fun! I got to be on stage with the dragon though! :)
Damn that puppet is really impressive
I like how everyone is saying they got the dragon part in their musical but in mine I got a knight but in ours the knights do way more and I’m happy
Saaaaame!
Saaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaame!!
