Fare is not high but it is quite comparable to Siliguri to Kolkata route. We need to consider that this bus is taking only 28 passengers (2+1) instead of 49 (2+2).

Last week l travelled on a Volvo 9600 multi axle sleeper bus much better than this bus from Kolkata to Siliguri 600Km for Rs 1500 only. I think paying Rs 1400 for a journey of only 350 Km is too much. Bus Transportation in Bangladesh is much more costly in Bangladesh than in lndia .

In this bus, Kolkata Siliguri would be rs 3000. Sometimes Kolkata Siliguri fare gets above 2200 with sleeper bus

Btw I have forgot to mention. Lot's of bus companies in Bangladesh bought these buses from Green Line or Shohagh Paribahan Limited companies. These two company is massive (Sugar Daddy) in Bangladesh. So what ever they used in past when they upgrade their busses, they sell theirs older ones to other bus companies in a cheap price.

Those seats were imported from korea by Shohagh Group (dealer of Scania). Both CBU or CKD Scania have these seats because they are applied by Shohagh in Bangladesh.
That body shape is inspired from SKS (Malaysia). Most of the CBU Scania buses were made by SKS earlier (example: green coloured National Travels Scania k410 you saw at hotel break). So Shohagh Group build some SKS shaped buses.

Dada, actually maximum luxurious buses of Bangladesh have a seating position of 2:1. For that reason, fare is charged highly.
We rarely have 2:2 seating position in the luxurious buses like Hyundai, Scania and Hino RN-8.

In Pakistan we use Yutong, Higer, Daewoo, and forland buses. Tgese are really modern and comfortable buses. Pakistan has a very organised bus system because railway is not developed enough and Airways is expensive.

I am from Gobindaganj, Gaibandha. All Rangpur Gaibandha buses put a halt in Gobindaganj, because they have counters in Gobindaganj. I used to travel in this Dhaka Rangpur highway frequently. I also travelled through Agomony a lot.

You can take Hanif Volvo b9r multi excel bus. It's quite longest bus in Bangladesh. Probably it run Dhaka to rangpur route only. I am not sure. After best of luck . doing well .

Fare is not high at all ... Compare the seating setup and amount of seat ... Where other country like India they setup the seating position 2:2(economy class) .. and the amount of seat will be 50.. instead of 28😂
