My Baigna is travelling tomorrow from Brahmanbaria to Mymensingh by train to celebrate Eid with his family and feel happy to see your journey to MYMENSINGH.Your recommendation about our railway is well placed.Railway was historically underinvested/ignored in Bangladesh due to Bus Owner syndicate and poor vision of railway ministry but since 2009 with S Hasina in power some effort are going on in Railway sector. But it will take a decade with honest determination from authority if Rails wants a turnaround. People just love railway journey but due to serious corruption as like other public corporations, Railway still struggling to offer a hassle free comfortable journey. Hope, despite some inconvenience you will enjoy your experience in BD.
Mymensingh is an underrated station which is full of wastage. Moreover, unsecurity is the most common problem in Mymensingh Railway Station! BR should improve these problems to beautify our Mymensingh❤

Sorry to say but in Bangladesh Train's Quite Slow. *_DHAKA_* to *_MYMENSINGH_* just 121 km take 3 hrs 15 Minutes, where in India *_ASANSOL_* to *_HOWRAH_* 200 km take 3 hrs 15 Minutes by Agnibina Express, I thnik *_Bangladesh Railway_* need to work for improvement of Speed.
Old alco s were given only to haul Indian transshipment freight trains. Sometimes those are used for ordinary passenger trains. They purchased LHB from India few years ago but now being replaced by new Chinese or Korean coaches. Giving them old icf s is an impossible thing to imagine. All ICF s are going to be scrapped. There should not be a single ICF in Indian railway after 2025
