I think it’s great that you have your own style that you’ve settled into and aren’t chasing every new trend. It’s the dozens of luxury versions of everything that’s a little dizzying, tbh.

More of this, please! This and the last video feel like the Lizzy of old and I'm hear for it.

Happy and relieved to see that I'm not the only one feeling the need for a reset! Thanks so much for sharing along with your inspiring and doable outfit ideas for us to implement and enjoy!

I personally really love that you are not trying to catch up with the bombarding new trends. You do you, and that is essentially what we love and admire. Lots of love from Turkiye x

Love this video!! It’s reassuring to know I’m not to only one feeling a little uninspired and repetitive with winter fashion. Would also love to see how you pieced and chose these items, as like a “behind the scenes” style video, alongside seeing the final outfits!

Love your transparency in the intro, very relatable. I hated the way everything looked on me until I realised I needed a new hairdo

The one with the black turtle neck is so so beautiful. I think it almost had a 70s vibe, which I always like on you. When you have little touches of vintage. And you could really tell that you feel great in it. Which is the one thing that always suits everyone most. ❤❤❤ but also been feeling uninspired. I think 70s are going to have a big comeback though and I’m here for it!
Always love your videos, love from Berlin.

I honestly feel the same about the comeback of the y2k style!!! thank you for not caving into it as you're my main styling inspiration out there haha

To be honest, you're the only fashion influencer I took advice from. I have bought items because you have worn them. Also when I have dilemma with an item, I would also ask myself, "what would Lizzy do?" and go check your instagram. From my point of view, it's not necessary for you to follow the trend, especially the tic tok ones. You have a quite recognizable/unique style yourself. ❤

This was so so so good🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 Lizzy is back! Inspiring us all to have a good style sesh with what we own! Love you at home talking fashion - it’s just the best! Thank you! Looks we’re🔥🔥🔥

I'm such a layerer, and have been really loving doing the shirt and jumper look this a/w. I was so skeptical of the whole 'what are your three words' to discribe your fashion, but now that I've found what feels right it has actually been really insipiring! (preppy, grungy, mid-century for me) I really loved this video Lizzy! xx

absolutely love the first outfit Lizzy! I recently got a tie and have been wearing it with more preppy looks like that and it has made me feel like i'm getting out of the uninspired rut - maybe you should get one too

Hey Lizzy! I was feeling super uninspired with my wardrobe for months and then I stumbled upon Amy Smilovic, she’s the CD/founder of Tibi and she does weekly videos on the Tibi TH-cam page. She put words on exactly how I was feeling regarding my clothes: lots of great options/pieces but somehow still feel flat. She talks a lot about big/slim/skin, colour theory and chill/modern/classic. I highly recommend you have a watch. Even if the style is slightly different, her advices are great and apply to many different styles. She got me out of my funk!

Lizzy, i love your videos and your style! i would be interested in watching you discuss and go through old outfits, maybe via instagram or old styling videos and see if there are things you'd change or style differently now. Just curious as to how you'd take a look at previous outfits! would be fun??

Thank you for this video Lizzy. It is the type of content I came to love from you originally, as it is honest and inspiring, and always laced with a bit of your recognisable British wit which I so adore! I agree with others that it is actually much more inspiring to see this honesty and commitment to your own personal style than it is to see someone constantly pushing new trends for the $ they receive. I absolutely understand that influencers need to make money, as we all do, but I much rather this type of content where you highlight quality pieces and explain why the silhouettes/fabrics/colours resonate with you and how to incorporate each piece into a whole outfit. It feels more like education, rather than an advertisement. One thing that I believe sets you apart from other fashion influencers is that you have a genuinely artistic, creative mind and an excellent sense of style. You understand shape, colour and proportion in a considered and thoughtful way. I think this tends to be innate in some artists/creatives. I would love to see you tap into this more, for example maybe focus on a specific film, book or art piece you find inspiring and translate that inspiration into outfit creation. A channel called Parisian Vibe does this beautifully at times. I think you may also find this approach fulfilling as it will allow you to tap into your knowledge and passion for the creative arts, which we often see glimpses of, and will set you apart from other fashion influencers whose channels just seem like a giant advert. I remember back to your Japan blogs, and they were filled with this kind of inspiring content that linked fashion to culture and creative expression. Love from Australia xx

Although you say your style is s very masculine, the two outfits that you sounded/looked most excited about had slightly more feminine silhouettes (the last two outfits). These outfits have a balanced ying/yang. ⚖️

I’ve been really inspired by 90’s minimalist icons recently and think your style really resonates with it! People such as Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy I can see you replicating her outfits with what’s in your wardrobe already. Plus if you’re looking to work on your silhouettes this style really emphasises that as part of the look.
I find sometimes the best inspiration is looking through old runway archives. I know you love the tabis so you should check out their history and origin, although I’m not sure how interested you are in Maison Margiela as a brand because it is quite avant garde and maybe not your thing, but please do check out Hermès during the years Martin Margiela was the head designer (1997-2003) because that has beautiful androgynous silhouettes 🤍

So glad you’re rethinking the baggy silhouette! I’ve been hoping you would. The look is ok on you but it’s a total no go for older viewers like me!

I think our age bracket is just underrepresented online. I think Brittany Bathgate is the only one whose style I really like and she posts less now these days 🤦🏻‍♀️. It’s a tricky age when you don’t want to look ‘mumsy’ but feel out of place in the teenage fashion trends. Really appreciate your ideas x
