The UN has very selective powers of observation.
The UNIFIL does not have a mandate to act only observe and report what they see. Don't blame the boots on the ground their hands are tied. Blame the Security Council!
Blame the terrorists and countries funding these terrorist. Do NOT blame a peaceful country trying to protect its citizens who are continually attacked.

I love hearing people talk about how Israelis aren't native to the region, are colonial occupiers, and are attacking their peaceful muslim neighbors, followed by sentences like: "the caliphate will reclaim palestine and if the jews don't want to live there, they can 'go back where they came from.'" Or "we should care more about our muslim brothers in Sudan, like we do in Palestine; hindus accuse me of caring more about muslims elsewhere than my own countrymen, which is true..." As long as the majority of palestinians surveyed want a one state solution and condone terrorism to get there, Israel is going to defend its citizens. Putting the blame on Israel when even the UN won't fulfill their mandate to cease the hostile activities along the Israeli border, is just blaming Israel for no longer accepting a war being fought on their own territory instead of in the territory of their attackers. Chicken and egg argument is irrelevant during open hostilities when Oct 7, the refusal to return hostages or forswear further attacks on Israel, and multiple parties joining hamas in their aggression is what got us to this point. If these groups actually cared about Palestinians, they'd be negotiating openly and in good faith in pursuit of a 2 state solution, not still going all in on a possible future in which Israel doesn't exist anymore.

That looks like a well to me. There are similar openings in the italian countryside with a metallic lid on it and they are wells.In fact that opening has no stairs to descend : if it was the entrance to a tunnel how could peopke go in and out without stairs ? About the other stuff ,I can only see stuff on the soil. As far as I know the IDF put it there to set the stage and then the journalist started his report. Are you serious? Is this the evidence that you can offer? This matches nicely with the video in which an IDF soldier was in front of a wall with a paper sheet with Arabic writing on it,claiming it was the schedule of the turns of the Hamas guards guarding the hostages in a tunnel. Actually it was a handmade calendar and the Arabic names where the names of the days of the week : monday ,tuesday, wednesday..

If you google : " wells in the country side" you can find pictures of similar structures ,whose opening is at the level of the soil and with a metallic lid. Some are circular, this is squared.

I make you an example: when you open a manhole to enter the sewage system people can descend in the opening by using those metallic handles attached to the wall of the tunnel. The walls of that opening in the video are completely smooth , there is nothing to grasp to descend into it ,or to climb it if you are on the bottom. Exactly like the walls of a well.
