So true about the traditional movie/ cinema. THANKFULLY, things are S-L-O-W-L-Y starting to open up again. Last movie I saw at the theater was Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood at the end of the last normal year 2019. Edgar is SOOOO right about Phantom of the Paradise. I'm from WINNIPEG Canada where we've SERIOUSLY connected with the film AND the Cast (visa Vie Phantompalooza)
Completely agree edgar there are far to many streamers and I hate that and 100% agree nothing better than going out to the movies the cinema is an experience

They have podcasts and commentary tracks together where they just talk about obscure movies for hours on end. It’s fair to say they’re both as obsessed as each other
@@diegom-a7970 to be honest, quentin has gone on record time and time again that he loves obscure b movies more than high brow high art cinema. edgar's art school instincts must always kick in whenever selecting a film, on the other hand. nonetheless, both of these are two of the most original and uniquely brilliant filmmakers in business today
Oh God, Phantom of the Paradise. I rented it last year (after hearing Nicolas Cage saying he loves it), hoping it would be a bit like The Rocky Horror Show, but it isn't that much fun, I just found just very dated and very cheap-looking. I know that sounds a bit unfair when it's a low budget film from the 70s but good low budget films make you overlook how cheap they are, this wasn't one of them. But it's better than watching Cats I suppose.
