I think I know every note of Ravel’s piano music but somehow have gotten through more decades than I care to count without having heard this extraordinary composition. Fabulous, powerful performance! Sincerely wishing peace to the brilliant and brave people of Ukraine who have, among other things, long produced some of the world’s most extraordinary violinists.

Piano is out of phase with viola. Sound technicians need to be fully artists as well to capture the experience. The capture is all over the place. No critique towards the performance, at all!
