True, I connected with F1 TV a couple of years ago when ESPN withheld their service to cable companies because they wanted more money. F1 has all their different classes on one channel and Nascar should do that, too. I get an email/text each week of their weekend schedule in my time zone. I only watched F1 on ESPN anyway so I do not miss that channel.

Here's the deal, I'm not paying for multiple streaming services to watch nascar. If they want to retain viewers, they need to not just put 4 races on a service. That will be 4 races I'll miss this year. As for practice and qualifying. That's like watching paint dry. 54 year old fan. I'm sure I'm not the only one.

He drives, drifts, races & flies about anything & pretty much is a master at everything he tries! Now he has built his old Dale Earnhardt #3 race truck into a 4-wheel drive monster to drag race it. He also has his own oval track in Bradenton, FL " the old DeSoto Speedway now called Freedom Factory" where he holds & races in his Crown Vic races at the track or other tracks he rents such as Bristol, so racing a circle track is not a issue for him. He has so many irons in soo many different projects & things it unbelievable considering he started out as an intern with 1320 Video back in 2009! He didn't become Cleetus McFarland till 2015 when he started posting video's on TH-cam & took in about 2017 or early 2018 & he now has over 4 million subscribers.

I couldn't finish this episode when it first came out because the fires were sweeping across my home city and destroying it, I stopped watching because I just couldn't care less about any NASCAR or Motorsports related news while my friends and family members were losing their homes, I wish I had finished it because as a Southern California resident I genuinely want to say thank you for acknowledging us and the terrible fires that are destroying our cities and displacing so many of us. Amazon's first broadcast of RAW the other night pulled in double the number of viewers they were getting on USA. Their Thursday Night Football was up 13% over last year averaging 13.5 million viewers a game. They also streamed some NHL hockey this year. Don't have ratings numbers from that, but the broadcast was exceptional. I think NASCAR is gonna thrive on Prime.
The charter is one of the worst things to happen in a long time. They wanted to lower the barrier to entry for new teams with the new car. The charter system does the opposite.
I wish NASCAR decided to have all content exclusively on prime. We could all ditch cable and get what we want for cheap without interruption or tv scheduling conflicts. Imagine being able to watch talk shows, documentaries, past races, practice, qualifying, and live races for all three series (would be sweet if they added the modified series) all in one place.
Outside of baseball, there is nothing in the summer... and with Amazon able to promote Nascar every time you open the app, I think it will be the highest viewership of the season

The Thursday Night Football argument is good, but the difference between 2022 and 2024 is the games are actually curated a little better, and were worth watching this year 🤣
This is just my personal opinion, but NASCAR at all levels should not be an official team unless they can field one charter at each level. This way the teams have a pipeline or minor league pathway to the Cup series teams. Hendricks for example could field a Truck, Xfinity, and Cup series rides.
How is it that Chase can get a sponsor like this even though he hardly wins, but Larson, easily the biggest name in the sport (globally), wins in everything he drives, can't get beyond HendrickCars? And don't pretend like it's because of "the incident." I'm kinda wondering if maybe Mr H is choosing to be the primary because of the benefits of Larson's pull beyond NASCAR, something Chase does not have.

Well I'm a 40 year old fan and since I cut the cord, I'm able to watch at least 3 races. For every one of you, there's one of me.

Because no one watches them. These races probably will be down for now, but Nascar getting the early jump on Prime is a big deal. Now if they can throw the coverage on Peacock App too for their coverage, that'd be great.

The Thursday Night Football argument is good, but the difference between 2022 and 2024 is the games are actually curated a little better, and were worth watching this year 🤣
This is just my personal opinion, but NASCAR at all levels should not be an official team unless they can field one charter at each level. This way the teams have a pipeline or minor league pathway to the Cup series teams. Hendricks for example could field a Truck, Xfinity, and Cup series rides.
How is it that Chase can get a sponsor like this even though he hardly wins, but Larson, easily the biggest name in the sport (globally), wins in everything he drives, can't get beyond HendrickCars? And don't pretend like it's because of "the incident." I'm kinda wondering if maybe Mr H is choosing to be the primary because of the benefits of Larson's pull beyond NASCAR, something Chase does not have.

I understand what NASCAR is trying to do. But after the races are off of fox, I don't pretty much get to watch any of the races until they come back on ABC.
