      @@thankfulart Thank you. It wasn't exactly a success I hoped for. There are bits that look like clouds, and the colors are right, but I still need to work on putting it all together.... not that easy, afterall. YIKES. wil try another time with another painting. Thank you.

    Is there a way to make our other white work like the transparent one?

    • @thankfulart
      @thankfulart  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes just add water and a medium to make it stick. I use glazing fluid but matte medium works too. Titanium White won't be as transparent as Zinc White because the pigment particles are opaque. So even thin glazes with it will still appear chalky vs the transparent Zinc White. But for clouds it is fine to use watered down Titanium White.

    ❤Angela this is so cool looking !! Do you have any scenes or tutorials showing white fluffy clouds ?"
    Also is it possible to put the shorts into playlist or limit them or something ?? I mean no harm. Just to say that when fans are wanting to scroll thru your videos it really deters because you're scrolling for days through all those shorts videos. 😐
    I don't mean to offend but it really takes away from the nice look of your channel if you click on videos too I think. But for me really trying to learn from all your wonderful long landscape videos it's really hard now to scroll through the regular video thumbnails.
    I LOVE YOUR TALENT AND TECHNIQUES !!!

    • @thankfulart
      @thankfulart  ปีที่แล้ว

      I wish it did put the shorts in a different place. I have no control over how the uploads section looks unfortunately. You might try going to my channel home page and clicking on the recent livestream playlist. That has the newest videos and won't have any shorts.

      @@thankfulart Oh Thanks it worked ! There are these ovals you can click on and one says Live and so it's just all your live tutorials. That's great ! I'm going to look for one with fluffy clouds but I'm not sure if you have one? I mean I know you've painted just about everything by now and more than once.
      I did your winding road scene and it came out so nice !! Ok off to look for clouds.
      EDIT-- Oops it's called Green Forest Path that I painted.
      I found some clouds in the Eifel Tower one maybe.
      Thank you for your time. ps maybe'you can think about doing a white fluffy'cloud video. I know we all struggle with them. Thanks again for sharing your painting teachings !!

    • @thankfulart

      It is just primed a little differently. I didn't have another kind in that size. No other reason. Although a smoother board does help
