    Is the breakfast at the main restaurant an option just for ambassador level or plat/titanium also get that option?

      @gogotravelwithjosh  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It is not included or an option in main restaurant. Only club lounge for Platinum and higher

    Try Peninsula for top service & rooms

    Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit seems more luxurious but no executive lounge. I think you need to book room with breakfast if you want access to JW cafe, but they probably waived that for Ambassador.

      Yes, normally you need to pay extra if you want to eat in main JW Cafe restaurant and not lounge but at check here in they let me have both options which was very nice. Not sure if they do this for all elites or just Ambassadors.

    Avoid the JW Phu Quoc! Just an FYI, but do the Regent there! The king beds in Intercontinental Bangkok could got 6 people. So odd! Did you notice any of this in hotels there?

    Do you not think the Surawongse Marriott is better than this one?

      Possibly as that one also had been on my list however that one is in the premium tier not luxury with Marriott and rooms looked a little more basic. However I feel that property definitely is luxurious from the photos compared to most other Marriotts globally.

    In your opinion, which hotel is the most luxurious under marriot ?

    • @gogotravelwithjosh
      @gogotravelwithjosh  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      In Bangkok it will be the new Ritz Carlton that will open hopefully by end of the year. Otherwise worldwide there are so many my favorite probably is Ritz Carlton Xi’an. As that was the first Ritz I had ever been to and forever changed my perspective on what a hotel could be.

    Room 2423?

    • @gogotravelwithjosh
      @gogotravelwithjosh  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      2123 but 2423 should be the same layout

    • @hsiaojoe1054
      @hsiaojoe1054 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yup, same layout. They got suites with real kitchen for long-term stay.

    Have you stayed at every Marriott property in Bangkok? That's a bold claim.

    • @gogotravelwithjosh
      @gogotravelwithjosh  ปีที่แล้ว

      You make a valid point. No I have not stayed at every Marriott in the city but I have done a lot of research on all the properties there and to my best knowledge and opinion believe the JW Marriott is the best luxury Marriott property mostly due to it being fully renovated and having the most perfect service. The Athenee Luxury Collection is the other property I would consider staying at. The W and St. Regis though have not been renovated in over 8 years and both look dated! After a renovation either of those maybe could beat the JW. Overall in my opinion the best and most luxurious hotel in Bangkok is the Park Hyatt. But that one is not part of Marriott.
