Listening to this message is life changing for me because I am one of those Christians that also understood this passage wrong. God is so good and faithful to us. I asked God to help me understand this chapter spiritually and He did. Wow thank you Jesus.

Just want to say to all of those who got saved after marriage snd partner is not yet saved or whatever the situation is. The prayer of the righteous avalieth much.
God has a plan and a intention to reunite every soul with Him. God plan sometimes includes loving those that don't know who love is. Jesus. Just like hosea. Keep praying and preparing he will restore their spirits to his and connect you two together fully. ❤️❤️

Thank you brother. I struggle with feeling lost but 1 john 1:9-10 reminds me that if we confess our sin, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse from all unrighteousness. I fall down but he picks me back up, having paid all my sins on the cross. Truly Jesus has the words of life.

Presents the summons for the children of God to act righteously. The prologue of the Gospel of John presented the mission of the incarnate Word to be “to give authority” to those who receive and believe in him “to become children of God”.

Thank you for sharing such powerful and liberating insights of the Word. I discovered your teachings during Covid and in many respects you have become my online pastor for biblical teachings and study. Praise God for your gifting and the anointing that breaks the yoke.
I have recently just come to the end of the bible study on Joshua, it took me a while but was worthwhile. There was so much I learned and things I didn't realise, I got stuck on the last few chapters as I was pressing to enter into my own 'promised land'. Well I sensed the Holy Spirit till me to rest, and stop striving and my breakthrough came. Amen 🙏🏽

And sinners, plunged beneath that flood,
    Lose all their guilty stains”

I would totally agree the written words from the KJV is the way! It may be easier to understand the other versions in the ESV etv but you feel the spirit of God in the original translation. Just my opinion of course. God bless you!

    • @PastorPaulLeBoutillier
      @PastorPaulLeBoutillier ปีที่แล้ว +2

Except that the KJV is nothing close to "the original translation." The King James Bible didn't get translated into English until one thousand, six hundred years AFTER John wrote this letter.

I worship God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. All Praise be to God 🙌 only He is good.

That’s for this love your teachings!
I would just challenge the point about being no examples or concept of being slain in the spirit. We do see examples of people falling to the ground or being overwhelmed by the presence of God that are in keeping with what Spain in the spirit denotes.
I get wanting to not do anything spiritually out of order but sometimes over negative reaction to others wrong views can lead to suppresssion of some elements of the working of the spirit
    God bless you

Professor of Theology and Biblical Studies Wayne Grudem states that while the phrase "slaying in the Spirit" is not found in Scripture, there are a number of instances where people are described as falling to the ground or falling into a trance in the presence of God. Three disciples fell face-down to the ground, overwhelmed, on the mount of transfiguration.

Great message. I do disagree on the definition of walking in the light. We can see the gospel of John and in chapter 1 he starts to reveal the definition of the light. I believe that the definition that John uses to walk in the light is to walk in the "thruth" we can also see definitions of the word light in other books like Mathew 4.

If you haven't studied KJV then you can't say KJV has more depth. For every 1 similarity between KJV and ESV, there is 50 differences. You can take from all of them but to act like you don't loose good stuff straying from KJV is wrong.
