Then there is land ownership issue which is something that has bogged Kenya since independence.... so some of these buildings eventually collapse easily during rain storms and as the country's population grows out of control, Kenya's once open green spaces and lavish grasslands, tree cover, is slowly morphing into apartment blocks, haphazardly built anywhere and everywhere in turn, turning Kenya into one big open slum.

I'm kenyan and our take on progress(housing, education etc) is remarkably off the rails. the measurement looks more like 50ft 15.24 m wide and 70 ft 21.336m long to my naked eyes and instead of digging down i would of use piling or augur for the flooring less work same result

Wow….very poor construction. This building doesn’t have the proper support to handle the weight for the water drums on top. They should have used metal beams for support. Any 4 magnitude earthquake can bring this building down to the ground. So many people can die because of the lack infrastructure to this building. It’s these types of constructions that took more than 300,000 live in Haiti in 2010.

This building won’t withstand 7 on Richter scale earthquakes. Too many flawed techniques
