Battle of Carentan | Post Scriptum | No Commentary Gameplay

- The Battle of Carentan was an engagement in World War II between airborne forces of the United States Army and the German Wehrmacht during the Battle of Normandy. The battle took place between 6 and 13 June 1944, on the approaches to and within the town of Carentan, France.
In this match of Post Scriptum, I started out as a Sapper with my M3 Grease Gun submachine gun but ended up as a Squad leader and started using the Thompson.
The whole battle lasted 1 hour and 24 mins so I have trimmed out whatever I could to shorten the video.

yes. Some of the mechanics i like better than squad as well. Spawning at FOB or rally is almost twice as fast so that means less down time...i like it. Takes a minute to get a feel for the meta and how you can get 1 tapped from long distances but it's still enjoyable

What should I buy? This or HLL? I'm really dig the immersion of this game rather than the more casual feel of HLL, but I'm worried about buying a dying game, honestly. Also I'm from Latam, so I don't know how full servers in the US or Europe will do for me. Thanks in advance.
Well first of all your money is hard earned and its never good to spend on something that you wont be playing. Both games are pretty good, and both have their own pros and cons. Post Scriptum as you can see has amazing sound and graphics but it also comes with empty houses and zero map decorations which kill the immersion and to be honest there are not many servers for Asia but of you are from EU then you can play on UK servers and they are always populated. I am from Asia and I play on UK server with 190 ping but as you can see I play pretty decently. Also this game’s optimization is awesome, No frame drops or lags. On the other hand Hell let loose is an optimization mess atm and it will probably take them a few more months to fix the game properly but some maps have been optimized well enough by now and It also gets constant dev support. And they are soon gonna drop the most awaited Eastern front. So I would suggest you to buy Hell let Loose for now if you want to spend your money well and maybe buy PS during sale or something. I hope this helped you. I was thinking about a comparison video about both Games. Maybe I will soon. Happy huntin!

Also in this game I see it's quiet difficult to see the enemy as it's same with squad which can be quiet frustrating. In HLL you can still see enemy very well.
@@loverguy2410 Yes, Both Post Scriptum and Squad have relatively larger map. Traversing from one end to the other can take a lot of time and not being able to see the enemy most of the time can be a bit frustrating. But if you play with your squad and coordinate with each other and if your Squad lead talks and listens to the commander calling out orders then you guys can have some real fun gameplay experience. Some moments in this game and in Squad I absolutely loved while some were very frustrating and punishing. That is how Post Scriptum is supposed to be. Realistic and Brutal.
I have a problem, whenever I try to play a match in this map the game never loads and just breaks down you know the cause or any fixes?

Absolutely fantastic! I always did love the airborne (the histoy, living it and gameplay here) this is Immersive and gives you some freedom of movement when playing to. It's also good to have squad leaders who actually communicate..far too many clam up and communications is key in this type of game. Also..every day is leg day :) love it. Nicely executed folks! 👍 🫡

@@Jik I wont recommend running it on integrated graphics, it might run but you may have to run it on windows mode to get playable fps at lowest settings

First time i hear about this game, since it is discounted on the Steam so ... this is multiplayer only game? It looks, sounds good, but i have no intention to repeat the experiences with SW Battlefront 2. It looks, sounds great, but matches are there dominated by the few REALLY good players and the rest is "sealclubed". Very bad times for the new players.
Its nothing like battlefront and there is no one better in this game really, everyone gets headshotted no matter what 🤣, you should give this a try if you are into hardcore shooters. Also No hackers in this game, unlike EA Dice games which are plagued by hackers
@@rhinorex47 if there're no hackers, then I will give it a go. I've played HLLoose and encountered bunch of aimbot cheaters recently, which is a pain in the ass.

Totally worth it man, if you want an authentic WW2 experience. Sounds in this game is spectacular and the community is not toxic. And keep in mind, its not as casual as Hell Let Loose.
no game can be compared to squad and post scriptum...the sound is something best i have ever experienced in gaming rly...gaming community should be learning from this guys,like how to make a game immersive! keep up with the videos btw!

I don't know why, but I find Hell Let Loose more "serious" and realistic. Post Scriptum feels weird for some reason. Maybe because I have not played it that much, only about 10 hours. But Post Scriptum is definitely a good game, and it's worth the money.
Everyone has their own favourite, I like both game but I like PS more
PS is more grounded and realistic, that’s why and HLL loose is more of an arcade hardcore experience. Isn’t easy, but it was built more hardcore arcade for the design of it. PS to me is my favorite, because the sounds and overall accuracy down to the gear and units/ factions is done amazing for a game.
@@sethhauck1283 exactly, Hell let loose is more of a mix of PS and RS2 to me. Its toned down and more accessible for most players. Learning curve is not too steep in HLL. I like playing HLL after playing PS for too long to get a break, because playing milsim too much is kinda PTSD inducing lol 😂
HLL is too cartoony, PS and squad are most realistic (Apart from arma)
HLL definately aint more serious or realistic, its quite arcade among realistic shooters these days. Wont even come close on many of its mechanics
I couldn’t see fucking shit when I played this game no matter how I readjusted my graphics.
So I decided to watch a max graphics play through to see what I’m missing out on. Nope.
I think the foilage in this game just looks like ass. Maybe I’m missing a key component in playing this game, or maybe now it just has cheaters. I don’t know
😂, It has a very small player base to have cheaters man. I see no problem with the foliage or visibility. I play HLL and PS both and I think overall visibility in PS is much more crisp than HLL.
Is this game like COD: WW2 FPS?
COD WW2 is a world war 2 arcade shooter and Post Scriptum is a world war 2 military simulation game which means it is much more realistic and hardcore. And Post scriptum is multiplayer only, there is no singleplayer campaign at the moment in this game like COD WW2.

@@sudharsan4318 you should try online mode too, its more fun, try Hell Let Loose, its so much fun, they also added russian faction to the game recently. Do check out some of my Hell Let Loose videos. Buy it from steam during a sale

Yes I know, I have been kicked a few times for taking up a favourite slot or doing something funny(i teamkilled the admin) and he just loses his cool. People need to be a bit mature really. That happened in some of my videos lol. In one video they kicked me for taking up the fg42 so I switched team and took up the springfield rifled and bolt actioned their asses😂

Man I don't know if yall remember the game brothers in arms back in the day about the 191st airborne division that game was good and fun and used real ww2 military tactics like flanking and so on I wish they'd bring that game back and it showed the horrors of war
