Knowing Warner while growing up ski racing in Vermont was a great pleasure in my life. A genuine, friendly, all around awesome guy. His demeanor is not put on for the camera. Find your goal and chase it.

Congrats! Nice one. Two messages about it which I really like: The first would reflect the first half of it saying the journey is the goal. The second is more or less the proof that you can do anything successfully, if you do it with passion. And with the right friends.

Do the Vermont 50! 50 mile mountain bike in the hills of eastern Vermont - it’s beautiful and has such a community feel and there’s an aid station with beer

Awesome video Warner! You can run the same distance in August. Or you can do Vasaklassikern, 90 km skiing, 90 km mtb and run 90 km in same year.

Absolutely LOVED this vlog. So awesome watching you complete a goal. Also, LOVED how you said you were a professional athlete before your training. We all know you are but still hate when people say they trained for a marathon in 2 weeks or something big like this with no training, failing to say that they are super in shape. Can be super misleading to people.

You should do the Deerfield Dirt Road Randonee (D2R2): 180k of dirt roads through Western MA and Southern VT. It's Epic. And hard. And fun!!

Shame You didnt do the vasaloppet Sunday broadcasted in TV. Your journey looked awesome. Mine was horrible with block headwind and snowstorm. Freaking 11 hours finishing in pitch black, and that's me doing 300 km before the race this season.

Hey I guess you've gotten this suggestion but since you have allready done Vasaloppet go for something called a "Swedish classic" go and search for it because it involves vasaloppet and a couple more races ;D Lovely vlog cheers!
The track in that heat looked brutal. I'm very impressed you made it and kept your spirit up. I would've been so grumpy if I had to ski in that kind of weather.

Holy shit Warner, this vlog was so good I had to pop my TH-cam comment cherry. I don't even know where to start, the fact that you completed Vasaloppet with just 30 days of training is absolutely insane. I know you were a likeable guy from Jon's old vlogs but I didn't know you were such a story teller and inspiration. Also the interviews were such a nice feature. The 22 minutes went by incredibly fast and I really hope you keep on doing this because it was awesome! Best of luck buddy!

I lost a bet with a Norwegian guy who hates XC skiing (I know right?!) and had to do the Vasaloppet. I am of Greek heritage and grew up and live in Malmö (snowing probably 1 week all year). I had never stood on skis before and the bet dictated no practice (obviously I cheated with this one) and made it in just shy of 11 hours. To anyone considering doing this, just do it, you will make it! I had around 25 km of practice and pulled it off! GO FOR IT!

kudos for switching over to where skiing began; NORDIC! how about doing the Grand Traverse here in Colorado; a skimo race from Crested Butte to Aspen.....it's "only" 37 miles (and uh, 8k of vert, mostly above 11,000').... let me know if you're interested! congrats on your Vasa!!!!
