Fun story. I actually do live near a tiger (the animal, not the shop). There's a weird little animal sanctuary with a tiger a few miles away. He's basically domesticated and very sweet. It's odd though, considering that I live in rural Missouri cx
Please be a bit careful with the erasable pens, if you leave your art in the sunlight too long, or if it gets too warm, the lines will disappear. But you can bring them back if you put the paper in the fridge or somewhere cold. Just a little warning beforehand :)

I bought a Frixion pen a couple of weeks back for line-art - what a coincidence! I found that they sell a massive range of Frixion pens on Amazon, lots of colours and even felt-tips/markers and highlighters. It'd be really cool if you did a doodle date where you drew with them and made use of their erase-ability!

Lisa Frank is the best... and you accurately described her style. You could get her neon drawings of large eyed cutesy animals with fantastically stylized backgrounds on folders, notebooks, pens, pencils, pencil sharpeners, erasers, backpacks, and lunch pails. You weren't anyone in a '90's American school unless you had something Lisa Frank... it took me a while to convince my parents of that fact though. My little heart sang when I finally got my Lisa Frank horse folder with a majestic rainbow in the background. Occasionally I'll still see something of hers in a store and I have to stop myself from buying it...
That's so horrible that you had to look so far because I live quite close to you guys and I found some tiger markers in the shop flying tiger, not tiger. I do only live about 10-20 minutes away so I was surprised that I saw them xD

Cool trick for the friction pen! If you sketch with it, theb draw over it with a non friction pen, then take a blow dryer over it it will dissapear and leave only the other pen behind

sometimes what i like to do is if they have a theme in there video, i like to draw the same theme while the video is playing, and after the video i play music a finish it. it keeps me company since im an only child.and an introvert.
I want to transition from watercolour markers and try alcohol based. These would be great, but if I can't get them which would you recommend? (I've been using to bow markers and prismacolour pencils and Lyra watercolour crayons)

I'm not sure how long they've been out or if they're available outside of the us, but yesterday while school shopping I found Bic highlighters with a brush tip! Well, they call it a Flex Tip. It comes in a set of 3 in typical highlighter colors (pink, blue, and yellow) and I'm really angry I didn't get two packs because I didn't realize they were Flex Tip until I got home
I was kinda surprised that there weren't any comments about that tiger is danish and you pronounce it like tee-ger with a silent g. It actually means like 10 d.kr witch is really cheap. But alot of people get confused with that. I'm from Iceland and Tiger is probably my favorite store and our danish teacher told us about how it's pronounced. ( we learn danish in school )

i wonder if the numbers (7 and 5) on the markers are the inspection numbers. some places have people inspect the product and then put their number on it as a seal of approval (and a way to keep track of the inspectors as well).

I'm just getting into using markers and I'm wondering if you can you can use either visual diary (think and sturdy paper, similar to card stock) or watercolour paper with markers. I'm getting Touch Five markers and I was just wondering which is better for the markers. (They are alcohol markers)

I use these markers all the time, I love them so much, I've bought every pack I've seen (The only tiger store I've been to is 2 hours away rip) and I LOVE them. They're really amazing, I use them way more than my copics!
In high school I had this history teacher, he was one of my favorites, during the holidays he'd wear a novelty tie and ask kids to press the button because it sang. Well it turns out it had stopped working after a few years so now he'd just start singing obnoxiously loud when they pressed the button (or he'd yell suddenly). It was terrifying as a freshman and I kept forgetting about it during the next two years and he (and I) thought it was funny that he could keep getting me with that joke, until senior year, that year I gave him a knowing look and told him this new junior had never heard his tie, and Yup he got the new kid with it. (don't worry he thought it was funny, once he'd calmed down) XD

I love how each character on the date has a unique background story.
I use these markers all the time, I love them so much, I've bought every pack I've seen (The only tiger store I've been to is 2 hours away rip) and I LOVE them. They're really amazing, I use them way more than my copics!
In high school I had this history teacher, he was one of my favorites, during the holidays he'd wear a novelty tie and ask kids to press the button because it sang. Well it turns out it had stopped working after a few years so now he'd just start singing obnoxiously loud when they pressed the button (or he'd yell suddenly). It was terrifying as a freshman and I kept forgetting about it during the next two years and he (and I) thought it was funny that he could keep getting me with that joke, until senior year, that year I gave him a knowing look and told him this new junior had never heard his tie, and Yup he got the new kid with it. (don't worry he thought it was funny, once he'd calmed down) XD
