The scrub ambush with scuffed weapons like the snowball launcher is pure platinum content. I would love to see like 3-5 ppl with snowball launchers just jump out in front of a kitted guy and blast him with 30 snowballs, even if he kills you its still piss yourself levels of funny.
Would be amazing if the drop rate was bigger for the guns
Do a trap base where you die with a door key on purpose. When they open the 2nd door to your base you could auto-close the 1st to lock them in. You know what to do!

that wouldn't work because they would still have the key to the first door, but you could close the second door instead.
@@Africannibal good point! You could just "forget" and leave the 2nd door open and let them right in. Or maybe a setup with a ladder hatch or double door that swings through a wall to block them. General idea is the same.

my favourite gameplay in rust (especially to watch) is the primitive gameplay. Its easy to spend 300 hours on UKN or some other aim trainer and suddenly the game turns in to who sneaks up on who or who has more time spent on UKN (I know not 100% of the time, but it feels like it) when it comes to choosing who wins a fight. Primitive rust IMO is the truest state of rust, EVERYTHING has value and is worth a lot. Inventory space dictates what you take, NOT what you want. This gameplay is amazing for me. Every piece of loot you get is valuable, every gun you use has a niche (close range, ambush) and isnt a simple point and win type thing. You actually needed to plan more than once what you did, other than "Run in direction X and shoot who i see". I loved this video. Well done.
i wish there was a way to make the game like that forever, but taking away tier 3 stuff and making it just prim takes away the whole grind of the game. when you’re tier 0 high level players feel like the bad guy and it’s so
much more fun, being the underdog with nothing but a DB and makeshift plans

Nothing more fun than going onto a high server as a solo, and going to town on geared players runnining with primitive gun, bow and melee weapon!
With some patience and luck you fill your boxes pretty quickly!
Nothing is more satisfying for a grub than getting two perfect bow headshots/other grub weapon shots that kill, hazmat+thompson/ak/mp5, full back of loot and getaway to store it.
