Call FedEx provide your id so you can pay customs

I recently bought shoes from the US, and asked my friend whose currently in the US to ship them this side. Will I be charged customs and duty fees ? I asked him to remove price tags and the shoe boxes to try throw the sars officials off
You’d still have to provide some form of invoice for them to see the value (play around with that if you know what I mean) 😉

No, you pay once, it helps making the delivery as fast as possible since the will no longer have to email you the bill when your package reaches the customs clearance offices here in SA

@@neophahlane5965 On eBay but I've looked at the list of items prohibited to export to South Africa from UK and it includes anything that has lithium ion batteries installed inside of it, it is considered as dangerous goods. So in all it's not possible to get a phone from the UK to SA

Bro please help here... i bought an iphone from ebay, and was gonna ship it to south africa using myUs. problem now i cant ship the phone because of the message " Installed Lithium Batteries from the United Kingdom Facility cannot ship to your country" . what can i do please i need help fast
Try charging the shipping company(DHL, FedEx…) to see if it will allow, otherwise email them to ask
They are saying thats they do not allow those agents to ship such phones to here in South Africa. Jesus now I'm confused because there's nothing that I can do and they said they will discard my package
And if they do that I will lose the phone, and I can't return the phone back to the seller because It I bought it from ebay and seller doesn't allow returns
