  • This week we have a special treat! After finishing up the study of Paul Tillich's sermon "You Are Accepted" we wanted to do something different. A way to double down on our love for this talk and what it means and the impact it's had on Revolution. So here we are, the original sermon, in full! And to add on to all of this--the sermon is read by philosopher and storyteller (and Jay's best mate) Peter Rollins!
    Enjoy!

This is an outstanding sermon to listen to. I think God really refined some sharpened insight in the mind of Tillich.

That was amazing. I’m sad he didn’t touch more on grace for others. I used to be so critical of people. So specific in my criteria for who was worth my time. Now, I accept them. It doesn’t mean that I’m equally compatible with everyone, but if I meet you, I accept you, and am excited to know you and understand you. I am excited for grace.

Sounds very Kierkegaardian. The sickness unto death is despair.

The more substantial, the less popular.
(It is almost a mathematical principle.)
