Thank you Dice Tower team. Great game. I played this for the first time at GenCon but with the original. Having this Kickstarter version at home I was excited to play. Phat is definitely a mistype (twice) in the manual, but the two Schemes are not likely a misprint. In my opinion they are just bad examples: (a) Master of Federation talks about contiguous regions, including those that just might be next to each other across the Nile (hence the white connector rectangles), with the card simply showing a hand pointing at a map and (b) East or West clearly shows a delineation line in the icon but then the card shows a picture of the Nile (not to be confused with the icon picture of (a), which tried to explain contiguous regions include the river).
The coloured cards for the phases are also in the first edition from HiG. It's just that's it's not mentioned in the rule book so I don't think people realised!
I would prefer that catchupalooza went back to the old format. I don't need to see a live play, and I think the convo would be better if people had a chance to think it over, and didn't have to play under the pressure of a live stream.
even before - they mentioned that they would often record the 'thoughts' part right after. guess they could make it non-live to alleviate some of the pressure.
THIS IS OUTRAGEOUS! Of course I’ve played Tigris & Euphrates!
I would have remembered that if you had a shirt that read "Ask me about my Cradle of Life."
The game and its rules all make thematic sense, too. I appreciate Zee, but he was flat out wrong talking about T&E.
I like the live format and then impressions!! Also it would be cool to make the names of the players the color they are playing instead of white
Oh Zee...As soon as you pointed out the reference error, I got the pen on my table and drew an arrow...like an animal! XD

Yeah. There are a couple of misprints in the rulebook. The switched graphics for the "objective" cards is one of the biggest.
1:12:41 End of year highlight!
All my Top 10s have at least 25 things in them!

I like both. If the live play is available thats cool, but I’d like a 4 square type review in a separate video.
I disagree…I like the fresh after play banter.

I prefer this format. Watch them learn and react throughout the game. Then a talk afterward.
Heh, guess we'll never please everyone!
I own the original version
Which honestly i like way more
This one is overproduced and too colorful
I like the classy look of the original
