Your videos are underrated, they saved me and probably many others money from getting 4 ping fans, your videos are straight forward and helpful. Keep doin what u love.
You are the only one I’ve seen that actually explains the 3 pin connection to a 4 pin. I’ve been up all night. Thanks you 🤙🏻🤙🏻 I can finally go to sleep! But then again I must go to work now
What a life saver! I got a prebuilt Msi. For some reason they only decided to put two fans in the case. I ordered another fan and the prebuilt had 4 pin but the one I ordered for some reason had 3 pins
Man thank you so much I was worried about how to do it and if I could do it and your video was exactly what I needed, I thought maybe my computer was dying or I needed new fans or adaptors but all I needed was this video 😂
Thanks buddy. I just posted a few other nice videos I really think you'll like. 1 of them teaches you how to get ANY food item/s for 100% free. I swear to god. Chedk out the tutorial man! And please subscribe only if u enjoy(: peace
Would you rather have had it longer? I guess I figured that people don't want to watch really long videos like I thought they would just want me to get straight to the point which I did you know do you think?
tysm ive been trying to plug in the cpu 8 pin i a nzxt h10 rip fingers well heres a tip for less trouble if you are wireing in this case get a custom cpu cable or power suppy cpu cable and plug it in then push it through the case to the back so u dont kill ur fingers like i did
@@coolbreeze6751 This video shows how to connect (female) 3 pin fan power to (male) 4 pin motherboard fan power. Commenter was asking about how to connect (female) "3 pin RGB" onto (male) 4 pin RGB connection pins. I am also looking to solve this issue (Not made clear by the video).
Maybe with adapters. But plugging the 3 pin to 4 pin is not gonna work: 4 pins have: - one pin for 12V output - one pin for red - one pin for green - one pin for blue. And 3 pins have: - one pin for 5V output - one pin for Data - one pin for Ground
@@andrewmiller2009 yea exactly, I actually solved this issue with a extended led strip, I had a bunch left over so I just cut one of the pins on the led strip and it works just fine

Yes sir, like I said in the video...do not be intimidated. I know it seems..."weird" to be connecting something that only has 2 pins to something with 4 pinz, but it's really not a problem. Ok, consider it like this....you know when you plug in a cord, to a socket with one of those holes at the bottom, but your cord only has 2 prongs? THIS IS NO DIFFERENT THAN THAT!
hi i appreciate the feedback and will better my videos in the future. At the time, i noticed there were no videos explaining this so I made something crude just to get some help up ASAP. After re-watching this, I was criticizing myself for the poor quality. This won't happen again, thanks for the reminder.

yeah dude. watch the video.

El conector de 3 pines son 5v y el 4 pines son 12v, habrá alguna problema si conecto un fan de 3 pines 5v en la placa de 4 pines 12v?
And you can control speed on bios or its inly for PWM 4 pin fans
i guess that 4th pin is for control

I did this, but I can’t change the rgb color on it, is there a way to do that?
Nah
I connected my 12v (3pin) fan to my 4pin header and the fan does not run fast enough. Is this right?
My rgb is 3 pin hole like you see in this video it’s four pin is their a way to connect a 3 pin rgb into 4 pin rgb
yes! just plug it in like i did in the video. let me know how it goes man.
Hi u directory connected it from 1pin - 3rd pin leaving 1 hangings from right side right
correct

si, esta bien mi amigo
I have a 4-pin RGB plug in and a 4-pin 12 volt on my motherboard everyone says not to do that
you can tell more about that ?
If u buy 4 pin rgb u need use 4 pin for it and no matter what voltage
Does this cause the non-PWM 3-pin fans to run at 100% or can the motherboard fluctuate the current to control the fan speeds?
If u got 3 pin u cant control speed but u can see rpm
@@genIIgautr can u control the lights?
On my motherboard I can’t find the 3 fan pins, also my motherboard layout is different
I have fantech classic no rgb fan, it spins on max speed, no reaction in bios settings
Everybody tells me not to do that because I can short my fan out or catch fire
no, its dangerous if it is RGB header
Thank you omg you just saved me so much time and money 😫 ❤
hey man, i just ordered a 2pin fan by error, is there i way i can put it into a 4 pin slot?
Hm, that's a good question. I have never tried to do that. Did you ever attempt to do it yourself and see? How did it go?
@@coolbreeze6751 didnt want my gpu to explode, i ordered a new one and sent back the one with 2 pin.
Thanks for the answer
I got you, but just for the record, your Motherboard knows the temp of everything and it WILL shut down the PC before any damage can happen.
You can connect it directly to the 12v power supply line.
Are you still active on this channel
what about 5 pin fan to 3 pin motherboard?
mine dosent have that slot and dosent fit but it says its a fan connector
