Hi Angie, I love when rebounding instructors consider or use more than 1 brand of rebounder in their videos. I have a leaps and rebounds, bellicon and Jumpsport. I would love to see a rebounder instructor use the Boing bungee rebounder to see how it is….or the Acon fitness rebounder!
I have an inexpensive spring type rebounder along with a JumpSport 370 pro and a Cellerciser. The latter two are leaps and bounds (no pun intended) above the cheaper spring model. To be fair to the Cellerciser, even though it has springs, it's unique designed spring makes it incomparable to any other spring rebounder I've tried. I would compare the mat and bounce to being as good as my JumpSport. For reverence I weigh 128 lbs. The portability of the Cellerciser is also a great plus along with the fact that you will never have to change out the springs like you do with the bungees. The JumpSort is great and I like the adjustability of the cords. The Cellerciser says their springs are "self adjusting" to different body types but I can only speak for my own. I prefer the smaller sizes as I live in a smaller space so I can't speak about a comparison to the larger ones.
I just bought a spring loaded rebounder, kinda wish I did a little more research as it does feel hard on my knees. But as long as I stick with my workouts until the end of the year, my plan is to upgrade to a leaps and rebounds rebounder. Thanks for the informative video Angie!
Hey all! The Leaps & Rebounds now offers a softer bungee alternative. I'm trying out mixing them in, on the 48"model, with the standard bungees their rebounders ship with. I'm liking the placement of one softer bungee at each of the six legs. I don't know if anyone else has tried this. I wish I had the money for a JumpSport 500 level right now.

Totally agree. I have a jump sport 350 and a bellicon 44. I way prefer the Jump Sport to the Bellicon. Wish I had just done two jump sport trampolines. I love that one!
Nothing could be better than a Cellerciser. It is the perfect rebounding exercise machine. It has springs that are very quiet if you oil them every few years. It is guaranteed for a lifetime ... including if you weigh a lot (up to 300 pounds, although it still works up to about 400 pounds). It lives in the middle of my living room in a place of honor. The balance bar gives security if you need it. I would not want a softer mat and the mat seems to give just the right amount of spring. You can even buy a portable one. Even if it was $1,000 I would buy it as a lifetime gift to myself.
that is the pure beauty of why we pick the rebounders we do love. I do not recommend spring loaded at all after 23 years of teaching rebounding. I only recommend three brands as I have tried most spring and bungee style rebounders. I absolutely understand picking a rebounder is really a very personal choice according to our budget, body needs and what we are specifically going for. So glad you found a rebounder that works for you.

Hi Angie, thanks for the great review of the 3 popular brands. I know you recommend Jumpsort over Bellicon because of price & mat quality, what if Bellicon is cheaper than Jumpsport, would you recommend it over Jumpsport? I found a new 44-inch Bellicon Go selling for US$568 while 44-inch Jumpsport 550f Pro is selling for US$650. The Bellicon Go does not come pre-assembled, but I don't mind assembling it. Thanks.
Both the Bellicon and Jump Sport are great. I would get the cheaper one. Make sure it is the bounce space you want. I have given so many rebounders away due to the limited bounce space.
your advice has helped me as a beginner.... (currently with a Needak spring rebounder).. I am leaning towards... the leaps and rebounds bungee rebounder...maybe a 40 or 48 inch..my average weight never gets more than 190 lbs. thanks!
On your Jumpsport rebounder do you have the regular skirt, or do you have a petal skirt? I would like something padded over the bungees, but the petal skirt looks like you could easily catch your foot in it, since it has several raised areas.
Thanks! I am 6'4" and I don't know my weight. I was around 300 but I've lost around 3 notches on the belt and still going down. So, I take it the higher weight limit is going to be a stiffer bounce. Does a heavier person make that bounce a little more comparable to a lighter person on a softer bounce rebounder?
Requesting advice. I have NEVER exercised on a rebounder. I plan on buying a rebounder, which is a better quality, size for an armature like me. My family hopefully will use it too.
I just ordered it too in purple. I’m so excited to get started! Thanks for the great review video, @AngieFitnessTV. A friend recommended the spring type of rebounder, but I decided to go with the bungee based on my height and weight. It should be a good fit for me.
@@ukurockstar I got mine and Blue… And I do a little bouncing every day. It’s nice and smooth. I got the 48 inch one… Because I’m a big guy… A big issue guy I thought I needed it. But I have a feeling that a smaller one might’ve been just as good.
How is the longevity on the JumpSport bungees? Having knots in them doesn't strike me as something that'll help it last longer. I own a Bellicon so I got curious after your praise. Given that I dialed in the amount of tension on the Bellicon by combining the yellow and red clips 50/50 because yellow was too weak and red a bit too much for my taste, I'm not convinced that the JumpSport could offer a full alternative. PS: I've owned the bellicon for 5 years now with daily exercising and of the two full sets I mixed and matched I think one half has breathed its last and the other half will probably last another year or two. Three years seems pretty decent. Some rough math and a count of 82 bounces per minute says that that's probably around 3-4 million bounce cycles durability. Most of them high enough to get my foot off the mat, though not sweaty exercise level. JumpSport claims between 0.8 to 1.6 million bounce cycles, depending on the model. I'll reiterate my concerns about long-term durability, especially since I fail to see any replacement bungees listed for sale on their website.
I have owned my JumpSport for over a year now and my bellicon too. I can not attest to super long term bungee lasting. My leaps and rebounds has lasted for 5 years now.
Hello I am on the fence as to which to buy new to rebounding some issue with lower back on occasion played tennis for most of my Ty years and I do have a treadmill and a Pilates reformer any thoughts on the Bellicon or the 550/570 in regards to lower back thanks
The folding legs on the Bellicon are SO alluring (and the 49 inch size option)! I don't have anywhere to store a rebounder with legs if needed, and I could slide the Bellicon under the bed. I was originally leaning JumpSport, but is it so comparable to the Bellicon that it's worth saving some $$? Do the legs come off easily?
This foldable rebounder is on par with bellicon and jumpsport 10% off with code ANGIEFITNESS through the website which is best deal. I travel with this one all over the world. I own the jump sport and bellicon too. rebound.fitness/shop/rebounders/fit-bounce-pro-xl-bungee-sprung-rebounder/?ref=yj3m9j17
I am considering the jumpsport 550/570 or the Bellicon. A reviewer in amazon stated that in less than a year he had to replace the mat and the bands on his 550 at a considerable cost. How long have you used yours and what is your take on that experience.
I own the 550 (1 year now) and have no issues what so ever. I use my jumpsport everyday and I love my leaps and rebounds too and never had an issue with that brand either.
I've really thought about getting a Bellicon. But I have reading a lot of reviews lately that talk about what terrible customer service they have---that they are often not reachable, don't answer their phone, don't return calls. Also that that they are very slow to ship, don't supply shipping notifications, etc. People don't know where their rebounders are or when they are getting it. Since the Bellicon is so expensive, all these reviews has made me re-think ordering from them.
Great video. I have only one question. Can you recommend me one that has FOLDING LEGS?? I live in a very small apartment and have to store it away when not in use. Thanks!
I do have the jumpsport 550 which is foldable but I have never folded it. I like to put mine on a wall. much easier.get garage hooks and the rebounder fits nicely on them.
Newbie-just starting to research ....Do I need a bar? Thinking about Jumpsport...so Petal mat or Sport mat? How long can I expect one to last if I use it a few times per week? Great video, thanks!

I am reading reviews about Leaps and Rebounds customer service that is not favorable. You stated you talked to them directly. How did you do that and do you still recommend the L& R trampoline? Thank you
I do recommend them still. I own three myself. There was a time when you are correct. The service was not top notch. I have seen a vast vast improvement with customer service. There has been good reviews in the past year and a half with them from people in my rebounding group and they told me about customer service and the quick response. Hope this helps.
Your super toned body and face is a great testament to your expertise! i have the Needak, but I'm thinking of getting a Leaps and Bounds rebounder for my daughter.
Why do some rebounders say for HIIT? Is there a difference in the bounce, or something else? Also, is there a different benefit in the different type of handles -- t-bars, the u shaped ones, and ladder types? thanks
very firm bounce. It is great for much heavier weight but not at my weight of 130 pounds. I do use the BCAN when doing power walk, box and core workouts when I want a really really firm bounce.
Thank You Angie for your comparison reviews. They will save me 💰- thank you 💐 I own a spring rebounder, but it began to make my ankles hurt.😮 Some of my lymph nodes were removed 9 years ago - I feel incredibly better when I rebound and it's fun😊 I have a small area to work out in so I'll add the stability bar. I'm considering the Leaps and Bounds.
I was using a spring rebounder without shoes then, but now I use the same one with my athletic shoes with custom made arch supports. Haven't had that problem since🙂
Hi Angie I’m just getting into rebounding and I bought a Belokon on craigslist for $450 but it did not come with instructions or a manual. I have extra boxes of different strength bands it came with but I have no idea how to tell their strength. I guess I should go on the Belokon website and try to purchase their manual? Thank you
I have the Jumpsort 370 and love it, but my knees are killing me, I have to wear double knee braces due to my arthritis. Considering the Beliicon perhaps it’s more gentler for me, so still not sure. Thanks for your review.
Excellent video very nicely done. Would you please provide some examples of movement choices, or the principles, that you suggest would be enhanced by utilizing the JumpSport 550's bungee adjustability feature?
the softer the bounce the more work your muscles has to do the firmer the bounce the more the rebounder helps your muscles. I use the firm setting when I want to move quickly and get a sold fast workout. when I want to really work my muscles I use the softer bounce.
What do you recommended for not getting a hard impact on joints? What do you mean by premium mat? I don't want it to be such a hard impact like my spring one from Amazon. That one hurts sometimes.
All three rebounders I recommend in this video will be great for you. When I say "premium mat" I simply mean it has a luxurious feel when you are on bare feet. All have a great bounce.
What, if any, are the downsides to the 40 inch Leaps and rebounds? There's not a lot of room where I'll be using it. And what about storing it? Any tips? Do I just lift it up on end? Thanks!

But I have been waiting for the stabilizer bar to be shipped. I did lots of research and theirs seemed to have great reviews, but I am kind of disappointed. I am over 65 and want to get started asap, but I am disappointed the stabilizer bar is not here.
Oh I bought the BCan on Amazon. I feel it in my knees so I’m interested in the bungee rebounder.
bungee is much better.
Cellerciser! Hands down!
Never could get into this brand. I am so glad you do love it. we all have personal preferences and bungee all the way for me.
Thank you. I feel that you are truly giving an honest review. It really helped.
Glad it was helpful!
Dear Angie you really helped me with your video thank you so much!!!
I am so glad I could help.
Thank you Angie~this was just what I needed ~ perfect
So glad I could help Betty
Which strength bellicon would you say is best for 130lb 60 yr old beginner?
there is a chart on the Bellicon site.
Is the Jumpsport 430. 44 inch still good for the mat? What is the diameter?
Many factors to consider. If you want individual guidance reach out to me at thebeachbodymom@gmail.com
Hi. thank you for your review. Very helpful. I am looking at JumpSport but both 570 and 550 pro are 44in. I can't find any 48/49inch ones. thanks
I do think they are 44 inch and I said 48 inch on the video but the jumpsport chart is the correct chart.
your advice has helped me as a beginner.... (currently with a Needak spring rebounder).. I am leaning towards... the leaps and rebounds bungee rebounder...maybe a 40 or 48 inch..my average weight never gets more than 190 lbs. thanks!
You will love the Leaps and Rebounds. I too have the Needak and know the bounce well. Get the 48 inch. 10% with code ANGIEFIT
Which is your prederred go-to, which do you use most? I'm in between L&R and Jumpsport 300 series
what is your current weight?
@@AngieFitnessTV 125 lbs., 5'6.5"
Thank you for the review. I bought the jumpsport and I LOVE it!!
I do love my 550 pro jump sport myself. Congrats.
On your Jumpsport rebounder do you have the regular skirt, or do you have a petal skirt? I would like something padded over the bungees, but the petal skirt looks like you could easily catch your foot in it, since it has several raised areas.
Mine is padded over the bungees
Ahh... the video I was looking for. Thanks Angie!
glad it could help Zeth
No- not necessarily. It just means the rebounder is made to go up to a certain weight. It has nothing to do with bounce feel as being firm or soft.
Requesting advice. I have NEVER exercised on a rebounder. I plan on buying a rebounder, which is a better quality, size for an armature like me. My family hopefully will use it too.
A JumpSport 550 is my pick then leaps and rebounds 48 inch.
Thank you! I ordered a 48 inch Leaps and Rebounds with your discount code. My lymph is sooo excited! 🥰🥰🥰
I run the REBOUNDING FOR HEALTH AND FITNESS on you tube. 10k rebounder members. Tons of resources and great post.
@@AngieFitnessTV Thank you! 🌞
I pulled the trigger on the 550 pro.
Thanks for a nice review
Congrats!!!!
I just got my leaps and bounds 48 inch!! Deliverers today, and now trying to muster up the energy to assemble it.
congrats to you!!!!!
was it hard to put together?
@@idalacorte2981 no it wasn’t too bad! Just have a space cleared on the floor to lay out the pieces.
On your 48" rebounder, what is the surface size on the part that you jump on? Thank you.
Is the Leaps & Rebounds hard to put together? Thank you so much for this review video!
No- it is straight forward.
can you calibrate i.e. alternate the bungee strengths to optimize the bounce on all three of the bungee rebounders you reviewed?
No- the bungees are all different on each rebounder.
Thank you for your excellent review. I have not decided yet. First timer.
Please do let me know what you do decide.
Hello I am on the fence as to which to buy new to rebounding some issue with lower back on occasion played tennis for most of my Ty years and I do have a treadmill and a Pilates reformer any thoughts on the Bellicon or the 550/570 in regards to lower back thanks
I think the 550 or the 570 is much better than the bellicon. I gave my bellicon to my mom as i did not like it at all really.
Is the leaps and rebounds suitable for doing HIIT or is it too soft/flexible for that kind of jumping?
I do HIIT all the time on the LEAPS AND REBOUNDS rebounder.
@@AngieFitnessTV thank you.
I love love love my Bellicon !!!!
it really is such an individual choice.
Thank you...great information...decision time.
You are so welcome
Thanks Angie, very helpful.
You're so welcome!
Great video. I have only one question. Can you recommend me one that has FOLDING LEGS?? I live in a very small apartment and have to store it away when not in use. Thanks!
I own the jump sport 550 pro folding but do not fold mine so you may have to do some research.
Thanks for the info... I’m researching before deciding which to purchase!
Glad I could help!
Do u think the foldable us just as durable I have limited space! GREAT REVIEW!
I do have the jumpsport 550 which is foldable but I have never folded it. I like to put mine on a wall. much easier.get garage hooks and the rebounder fits nicely on them.
first time decide to buy bungee rebounder.i am 74 yr and im very very thin.{need to place in my small hall}.
Keep it up
Newbie-just starting to research ....Do I need a bar? Thinking about Jumpsport...so Petal mat or Sport mat? How long can I expect one to last if I use it a few times per week? Great video, thanks!

Thanks for your honest review Angie. Thoughts on the Fit Bounce Pro?
I do not have that rebounder so I can not tell you.
Thanks for this advice! I appreciate hearing your experienced opinion. I want to get into it but don’t want to make a big investment in something until I know I’ll like it!
You are so welcome
Thank you for the reply. Is the 550 you talked about in the video foldable?
Yes mine is foldable.
Your super toned body and face is a great testament to your expertise! i have the Needak, but I'm thinking of getting a Leaps and Bounds rebounder for my daughter.
thank you so much
Why do some rebounders say for HIIT? Is there a difference in the bounce, or something else? Also, is there a different benefit in the different type of handles -- t-bars, the u shaped ones, and ladder types? thanks
HIIT workout is 45 seconds hard intensity work with 15 seconds recovery. You can do HIIT on any piece of equipment.
So you are advertising for Jump Sport. This is so much info! What about the exerciser
reach out to me if you want individual guidance.
Angie thank you. Do you have an opinion about BCAN?
very firm bounce.
Let me know what you do indeed decide. Exciting!!!!
May I ask if you were using the spring rebounder in socks or shoes? Just curious. Thank you for your feedback about your experience.
I was using a spring rebounder without shoes then, but now I use the same one with my athletic shoes with custom made arch supports. Haven't had that problem since🙂
Thanks for this review. I haven’t purchased yet but I’m leaning towards jumpsport 550 😊🌈
Nice solid rebounder you might choose.
Very helpful thanks!
Glad it was helpful!
Thank you
bellicon has bungee chart strengths and how to use them.
Spring rebounding is great for like jogging . But yes I found its harder on the joints.
Bungee is much kinder for my body too.
I have the Jumpsort 370 and love it, but my knees are killing me, I have to wear double knee braces due to my arthritis. Considering the Beliicon perhaps it’s more gentler for me, so still not sure. Thanks for your review.
Yes- the Bellicon jump space is bigger. Be sure to get as big of a bounce space as possible.
@@AngieFitnessTV thank you! 😊
What, if any, are the downsides to the 40 inch Leaps and rebounds? There's not a lot of room where I'll be using it. And what about storing it? Any tips? Do I just lift it up on end? Thanks!
I lift mine and put it in a corner. Get the bigger jump space . The smaller jump space is limiting.
Hi i'm interested in the 550 trampoline bungee rebounder
How can i get one..
go to their website at JUMPSPORT
Spring loaded seems to give a better workout. Bungee didn't work for this protenator.
It really is different for us all. Such a personal choice what we decide to get.
When is the best time to rRebound in for how long
whenever you have time to rebound is the best time
GREAT VIDEO!! How do u feel about the RAVS mini trampoline 48 inch? I've heard excellent reviews on it. Just was wondering about your take on it. Thank u.
I have not tried a RAVS.
There are probably 3/4 of a gadzillion tramps that are fantastic...as with fishing reels ! Both items will also have funky models.
there really are not a gadzillion tramps that are fantastic. I have been teaching for 25 years and have tried most of them myself. I only like 3 brands.
Are the foldable legs weaker?
I have a jumpsport 550 pro foldable. I have never tried to fold it.
Wh about if it folds in half or not?
I'm new, never done rebounding.
Is mat included?
Sounds like the jumpsport would be great from your opinions on them.
Yes the JumpSport 550 pro F folds. I have not tried to ever fold mine though
great video .. thankyou ..
i recently bought the serenelife 40" slelt403 rebounder ..
I'm wondering if you know anything about the brand and the actual rebounder ..
it cost approx $150AUS and I've heard that the cheaper ones can be dangerous .. that info I found out after getting the slelt 403 ..
would love your opinion .. 😊
I have not heard of this brand
@@AngieFitnessTV thanks so much for getting back ❣️
Cool thankyou ☺
Great info. Hubby is 260lbs and I am 125. 1)Can we use same unit? I have problems with my feet. 2)Can I wear shoes to bounce? 3) Do these fold for storage or slide under a bed? I have a small space. Thx.
always look at weight max capacity and then you can decide. Shoes or no shoes is a personal choice. Most rebounders do not fold under the bed.
Hi Angie I know this videos was posted months ago so I was just wondering which now is your favorite rebounder as to date? Is it the same one or has your opinion changed? I am interested in buying a rebounder to do intense aerobic workouts. They look so fun!
I am torn between the bellicon and jumpsport 550f (or 570). I heard tho that the folding jumpsport were recalled ( I believe jumpsport fixed the issue tho?) I am short only 5'1" and need to lose weight I am 148 lbs. Which one would you suggest me to get? Thank you for all the information and videos. I enjoy you videos very much. Thank you!
JumpSport still

Hello, is it possible to buy it in Europe?
the Leaps And Rebounds is USA based,
I weigh 50kg and am considering Jumpsport 250 and 350. Which would you recommend ? Is there a difference in the mat for both models?
Would appreciate your thoughts
I feel the jump space on these two are too small. I run a private group that you can directly access me .facebook.com/groups/461057758036521
I’ve had one knee replacement. I was told 3 things not to do: run, jump & kneel. My doctor says I can rebound though! After much research, I’m leaning toward the Jumpsport. I’m 71, 45 lbs overweight at 190. Do you believe the Jumpsport will work for me, between knee replacement and enough exercise to loose a few pounds?
I do love love the jumpsport 550 pro. not the jumpsport 350 as the bounce space is too limited. be sure to join the REBOUNDING FOR HEALTH AND FITNESS private facebook group I run. I go through foundational rebounding workouts etc in this group
