I was pretty shocked myself when I found out. Elementary has always been that one show I could watch and always count on a new season coming. Too bad it's ending but it's had a great run!
Love this show and its characters. Just saw the final episode here in Australia not knowing that it was the final but felt it was, so checked it out here and I was right. We don't get to see enough of this show here in Australia. They tend to repeat the same old series here on Channel 10 around midnight on a Saturday. Would really love to see more of it so will check it out on TH-cam.
I personally need to catch up on the final season which is number 7. I also agree with you, I love the show and it characters and it's a shame that the show is coming to an end!
They promised new adventures in London, and they ccame back to new York after one episode. Joan says this is we should be, and in the 1st episode of season 7 she says that it's not her place. They wasted all the good premises

This is the part that saved the series finale. I really thought Sherlock left the US without Joan. So happy this scene happened.
