Yeah I haven't used them much. Just got the ultimate bundle few months ago. But yeah there defiantly amazing from what I've seen so far! Maybe I'll make a special Halloween scary music template in my DAW and load those in ! Lol😂

It's these kinds of videos that make me feel overwhelmed as a digital composer and sound designer, I don't like buying new tools unless I have a really great need for them, but the FOMO from hearing one cool sound from a $600 library is real. I've been doing this since 2010 and every day still feels like day 1 (in both a good and scary way).
I've been working on a really special horror instrument for quite a while, with a focus on ambience and atmospherics... Unfortunately it may be another year until it's complete 😁 But I would be very pleased for some feedback if you wouldn't mind receiving a copy before release...

Like fresh eggs from the chicken coop in the garden, Guy lays his great videos at 10 to 11 and release them at 5pm! How can this be fresher? "Guy, direct from the shed to your house in 5 hours. Quicker, Fresher, with straw!" A tip about the Kontakt GUI flickering when you drag it from a screen to another: Change the Kontakt GUI from big window to reduced window and back to full window (one of the litlle thingy icons on the upper left). And yesssss, Kontakt GUI sucks, but we're used to that since decades now...
Rhythmic presets can be annoying to me because you'll find one that sounds amazing, but it would be weird to use it for an original work. It's like being given a catalog of someone else's songs, basically. You can usually tweak them, I guess. But still. 😔
I kind of feel the same way. I generally avoid sources that are already too much "designed" because I'd feel too guilty using them. But at the same time, I absolutely don't mind others using them. So... I don't know. I guess I should start welcoming some of it.
I just think of them like any other instrument because they basically are. It all still needs to be arranged and written by you. Hans Zimmer loved Stylus RMX but good luck hearing any specific preset in any of his music.

great! I made my first background music for Halloween. I also used Thrill and Mysteria from NI. It's very suitable for that.
