I found the same as everyone else regarding storing the grads and the fact that once mounted, they don't fit in the pouches supplied. However, if you buy the Benro shoulder bag that is designed for this holder, you can store the grads and ND's in frames, as the bag with its internal pouches is big enough to hold fully mounted filters. This avoids handling glass and is much quicker to use. The bag also allows you to carry the holder and grads in a protected bag, that is shoulder carried..
I have been using this system for more than year, and find that it works well. As it is the only system that I have tried, its not fair to say that it is better than other systems. What was the primary reason to chose Benro was, that the filters can be placed (and stored) in the frames for easy ajustment, and the filters can not drop out of the holder. I have all my filters in a frame as it is faster in the field and more secure. The only thing that shold be changed is in my opinion, that the graduated filters should be able to be stored in the frames and in the hard boxes, that they are delivred in (I do that with 2 ND-filters in one box). That would be great for secure transport in a soft camerabag or the soft Benrobag.
Henrik Lauridsen Yes I agree the frames are good to protect the filters from fingerprints too, but as you say it would be nice to have hard cases or sleeves that take the framed filters
Joseph Asghar Yes true, that would be a great addition, I will forward all these suggestions to Benro and hopefully they could manufacture these, shouldn’t be too much of an issue I would think
In have this system and really enjoy using it. I like the fact that your fingers don't need to touch the glass and that you can place them accurately using the knurled knob and the filter cannot fall out of the holder. They sell a Benro filter bag Lee, which is brilliant in that there is different sized slots that take the filters with the frames attached and also the smaller ND filter but they all lie level in the bag, making it easy to take them out. My only gripe is that I have a slightly different filter holder. The one I have is nearly the same apart from there being a button just next to the red knob, which I have to pull out in order to turn the knob, in my mind a totally useless safety feature, which has obviously been discontinued.
Thank you very much for sharing your experience with benro filters, I would like to ask if this set would work with the Ef 11-24mm lens or would I have to buy 2 sets of support, one specific for the 11-24 and another for the other lenses, sigma 14mm 1 ,8 , 50mm etc... Lastly, could you say if the quality of these filters is at the same level as NSI filters or is superior.
Hi Glad you like the video. The quality of the filters is very good, better than NISI I would say. I have to admit this video was quite a while ago and I have since been using Kase filters so not 100% sure on vignetting with wider lenses.
What is confusing everyone is that there are two different holders a FH100M2 and a FH100M2B. The FH100M2B is the one that is compatible with the Benro MACPL95 Polarizer and the FH100M2 is compatible with the Benro MACPL82 Polarizer
Gold Review, I think the frames are the key of the system. Unfortunately they do not fit with a frame in a single sleve. Hat about ultra wide, does 12mm or 14mm work. I am concernd about vignettings.
M. E-Punkt Thankyou for your comments. I know they are the same size as the Lee system, I’ve used that up to 17mm but not beyond that. It’s the edges of the holder that will cause vignetting so not sure 🤔
@@LeePengellyPhotography I have seen at 0:33 you are using the BENRO FH100M2. At the moment you can get a other system BENRO FH100M2B. The difference is the round filter. Its size is 95mm. My thoughts are that they choose 95mm to avoid vignetting. May you can check the vignetting by using a grey card with a 17mm objective or beyond that.
Hi Lee, I am struggling with unscrewing the polariser after using it. It tends to stay put and you hardly can unscrew it. What are your thoughts or tips about this ??
I was confused! You started with a FH100M2B holder and continue with the FH100M2. This is a huge difference. One filter slot less and a bigger pola filter of 95mm.
I don't know about the Wine Country Filter system but the Benro System betters the Lee System in most reviews I have seen. I cannot comment myself as I've never tried the Lee filters.
Ron Shephard I’ve used the Lee system for years, very good although I have had to replace resin grads on a number of occasions due to scratches. Their holder is fine though, basic but does what it’s supposed to do.
Peter Dadson The Benro filters themselves are great, good quality and are neutral. I would say they are on par with Lee. The holder takes some getting used to though. I haven’t tried the new Lee one yet but know it has been received well.
I think it is a system worth considering. But somehow no retail in Singapore likes to carry benro's better products. "Need to order" that's what all of them will say. The "official benro distributor" over here, the 1 in peninsular, is just rubbish. He don't try to sell your product. Amazon & B&H also seems don't seems to have a more comprehensive kit or links to the essentials. No point get a youtuber to advertise your product when there is no avenues to get them.
Damian Tan Hi, that’s a shame that you can’t get the product where you are. Just to clarify I wasn’t asked by Benro to advertise their system. They loaned it to me but was my decision to do this video. I can pass on your query regarding sales outlets if you like
@@LeePengellyPhotography No worries bro, Thanks for the gesture. I do have filter systems that are working just fine at the moment. There is potential in this product as it address a lot of issues that limit what is on the market right now. Just too bad that they don't know how to capitalize on it.

Looks to be very good Lee, I can see that some thought has gone into it's design.
Andrew Frost The more I use it the more I like it. It’s a bit quirky but delivers the results
Great system. I’ve reviewed it myself. I wish they’d come up with a lens cap for the stepping rings - that’d be perfect.
Joseph Asghar Yes true, that would be a great addition, I will forward all these suggestions to Benro and hopefully they could manufacture these, shouldn’t be too much of an issue I would think
Lee Pengelly Photography guess what time be just discovered - those rubber reusable food storage lids you can get work a treat!
Joseph Asghar Excellent idea 👍😊
This is a problem I have with the system also.
mma171 I’m going to contact Benro and ask if caps are available, will let you know.

Ron Shephard Thanks Ron. I have ordered the filter bag, didn’t realise they accommodate the framed filters so that’s great news.
You won't be disappointed Lee.

Could you please let me know where it can be bought? Thanks 🙏
Julio Esteban Perez Escudero Thankyou 😊 You can buy the system at www.wexphotovideo.com/benro-100mm-fh100m2-filter-holder-kit-1687663/ hope this helps
Great detailed video. Thank you!!
Glad it was helpful!
Great review.
I have 77 and 72mm flter thread sizes. Will I require a polarized for each size, or does one size fit all?
No you will only need adaptor rings for each lens the polariser fits in the holder

@@LeePengellyPhotography Yes, I mean the CPL
M. E-Punkt Might be better to go for the wider holder at the start
Have you used this holder while wearing gloves of some kind? If so, how did it go?
Raphael Sasayama Yes I have, holder and grad filters are fine just the polariser a little tricky with gloves.

247FNN Not sure, I was given the system and told it was the M2B. Obviously crossed wires. My apologies for any confusion
Is it possible to instal LEE filters into the frames ?
I’m not sure I didn’t try but they are the same size I think
Ignoring cost differences I wonder how this system compares with the Wine Country unit? Build, operational features and quality of filters?
Peter Dadson Are we talking Cokin ?🤔
I don't know about the Wine Country Filter system but the Benro System betters the Lee System in most reviews I have seen. I cannot comment myself as I've never tried the Lee filters.

Will the Benro filter frames accept a 100x100x2mm Filter that was not manufactured by Benro?
Not sure you would need to check on their website. Their filters fit in a plastic frame and not sure on the depth of them
