    I've been working my abs flat on the ground to the point that things get too regular and bored. This bosu ball is super effective on abs. These exercises here will be my new routine. I love the bosu ball.

    Thanks to this vid,I’ve always wondered how I could make use of this thing at gym,I know I’m gonna make a mockery of myself at first while learning all these workout exercises but just like your Hip and Glute exercises that I learnt from watching your videos,within a month of practice I know I will get the hang of it and get my core in a better shape.
    Thanks Coach.

    Awesome... love my Bosu ball but with a bad back and neck and several surgeries some of these are a no go.... just modify as necessary. I did finally have artificial disc replacement, 4 of them and much improved but still can't do half of these and never will.

    Great video! The only thing missing is rep scheme/time to hold the position/pose. What are the recommendations? 3 rounds? 15 second hold? 30 sec? 10 reps of v sit/bird dog/etc? You’re ripped and the bird dog looked hard… probably gonna be really hard for me!

    I have a broken foot and am non weight bearing for 4 more weeks. Can all of these be done from knees?

  • @MaverickGFY
    @MaverickGFY 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    I've been doing this routine for 6 months straight. I don't know the hold times or reps to perform. I just do longer times per each movement increasing each week. I do it twice per week? your numbers seem to equate to minimal times of contractions from $1 seconds on Plank to 11 seconds for side knee raises? Is that the gist not long 30 to 1.5 minute singular movements?

    Man, those are nice shoes. What are they? I'd like them!
    Anyhow, as a beginner, how often do I do ab/core work, and how many of these exercises? I realize you dont do all of these in one workout, so how would you break it down?

  • @grungepsychedelic9910

    I didn’t know what the “bird dog” exercise looks like, but I just guessed it from the name and I was TOTALLY right. I feel smart.

    I love the high plank hold/ forward and backward. But I find it to work my shoulders more than my Abs. Am I doing something wrong?

    • @Criticalbench
      @Criticalbench  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The simplest way to engage your core is to brace yourself as if you’re expecting a strong punch to the torso, and then breathe into your stomach. focus on pulling your navel up and in towards your spine. When you do this, your abs should feel tightened but you should still be able to move and breathe as normal.

    • @Criticalbench
      @Criticalbench  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      For counted repetitions the goal is 10-12
      For timed exercises, start with a 30 second goal and work up from there.
      For each exercise, you want to complete 3 full rounds of them.
      Hope this helps 😊

    Assembly is definitely tricky th-cam.com/users/postUgkx1N3gatJfHIxCsI2TbcOH1-k8v-EDJ40N but as long as you GO IN ORDER of the steps the booklet has, it’s all good. It took us about 30 minutes to assemble. Although it did come with a defect-the bottom 2 sticks which is suppose to be only for extra support to hold the whole thing together was not able to be put on. They didn’t make holes for it. So there was no way to screw them on. We decided we didn’t need them. So far so good. Everything else we screwed on tightly. We only use it for the basic stuff. We didn’t want to go through all the hassle during Christmas for returns lol. Other than that, we’ve used it many times now, and we get great workouts out of it!

      Yeah but the BOSU ball add the stability element that makes it more challenging in your muscles

  • @doommuffinz5276
    @doommuffinz5276 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Yeah theres no such thing as 15 "must do" exercises for 1 piece of equipment for 1 (2 if you count obliques seperately) group of muscles.
    Dude just googled every single exercise on the ball and put it in a video titling them "must do" when 3 maximum will cover every fiber of your abs

    • @Criticalbench
      @Criticalbench  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The whole point is to give people "options." Sure, add in 3-4 of your favorites during a workout. Many of us like to switch up exercises every couple weeks.
