Noah wrote this song as a Covid lockdown challenge where he used household items to make the sounds he used to write the beginning of the song. There is a vacuum, a dog, a wall decoration, a frying pan, keys, it’s nuts. There is a video. Also, once you hear the ba dum during the humming part, you can’t unhear it, it’s very cool.
I came for the Sleep Token and stayed for the Bad Omens. Completely agree with the person above; I love when you point out little nuances of which there are a ton in this one.

@@tjh5716 ohh, I see, that makes sense since for a good like month I probably did the same. They have two other albums prior to the death of peace of mind, so definetly check those out! (little disclaimer:with the latest album you are familiar with they changed their sound A LOT, even Noah sings in a more melodious way, so basically the two other albums have a heavier sound overall. Especially the first one, while the second one is already changing a bit more towards TDOFOM.). To sum up, sorry for the long ah comment, their three albums have all very different sounds. From the first one(self-titled "Bad Omens" , my favorite ones are Glass Houses, Exit Wounds and The Worst in me). From the second one("Finding God before God finds me"), basically the whole album. My faves are Limits, Mercy, Never know, Kingdom of Cards and Careful what you wish for. If you read until the end, I really respect you. Enjoy your bad omens trip, you won't regret it💙🖤
As always a very good breakdown, I really like your reactions because you point out things in the music many, like me, other times miss. It makes at least myself appreciate the songs even more. Can't wait for you to do more bad omens, beartooth etc. I would highly recommend you to react and listen to asking alexandria, I have more bands in mind but they went away 😅

You should react to « the grey » wich i think is one of the best track on the album and one of the thoughest to sing cause the notes are constantly high! And then you should compare it to the live version wich sounds even better!
