the "elevator music" is Bossa Nova, from Brazil! It is crazy to hear it mixed with metal and a lot of other so different from each other genres. Thought I felt it even more with Land of the Sun, in which there's even salsa! That one was FOR the latinos, amazing vibes, I'm addicted to Kim's music

My only problem with the person reacting is, that he doesn't know a cello from a stand up base. He has a cello strapped to him. A stand up base is too big and heavy to carry on a shoulder strap. I played a stand up base in orchestra in junior high. And my twin brother played the cello.

Ghost's Dance Macabre was actually part of a TH-cam 'long-play' post with a lot of supposedly steampunk music (not a playlist) that I stumbled upon years ago. That one actually turned me onto steampunk music after years and years of not really caring to much about newer music than what I learned to like as a youth in the 70's, 80's and 90's (born in '67, so I got them all first time!). I recently got back to Ghost after hearing this very song on my Radio Rock (Norway) radio channel. So now I have all their albums, and I love everything I've got. The 'funniest' thing is that Ghost is so much what you'd expect some Black Metal band to go for, with growls and howls, and yet the vocals are so NOT Black Metal and lovely. No wonder they have such a loyal fan-base, with parents gladly letting their young and impressionable kids in on it. 😇

Basically, every song from their Dark Sun and Dreamstate albums are lit!!! And their cover of Adele's "Hello" from their Origin album is unbelievable!

How is this band not selling out stadiums everywhere they play! Love this band!

I've seen all the big bands, or at least almost all of them, starting with the Monkees and Jimi Hendrix at Forest Hills in 1967 and trust me, Ghost is the best I've seen in concert ever hands down. No contest.

I purposely let myself forget how powerful this song is so I could find it again today and relive this experience. Phenomenal.

I just saw them last night @ the midland theater in KC, MO. I'm still smiling. I call them punk bluegrass when asked what type of music they play. What other band has made a cello so cool.
