The Trinov is very clearly the option to go with if you have a high-end setup. The Arc Studio is what you go with if you didn’t drop $50k on a space/$3k-plus on speakers/etc. This does a very good job at showing why
Yes, the Trinnov is not for everyone and I have said that maybe 10,000 times on this channel...LOL. However, if you think that a $300 ARC unit is the same thing as a Trinnov, its not. Most people that watch this channel have racks fo gear in their studio, mid-high priced monitors etc. They are more in the market for the Trinnov but again, its not for everyone.
Thanks Dave for another super informative and well presented video. I've just bought the Nova, and this (and your set up video) have been a great help, in figuring out some of the not so obvious stuff! 😀
Thanks for the thorough breakdown of the Trinnov! Does the Nova have presets like Sonarworks to recreate the sound of a Car, Laptop, or Cell Phone speaker?
Thank you for your another super interesting video :) Although this hw not in my plans so far still it is cool to learn new things to have ideas what possible for future for me or my friends.
Great thanks!! My Trinnov ST2 Pro makes a short audio mute (just a few millisecs.) every time I push any button or make any adjustments. Does the NOVA do that too??
Oh no, you have to pay extra for additional outputs for subwoofer(s)? I have only one stereo pair of monitors I want to use - but I have 2 x JL Fathom 12's I want to use as well for the bass. How much extra will I have to pay to use the subs with the mains?
No you don't. just hook up your sub to your monitors and then hook up the monitors to the Trinnov. As long as you have a cross over control on the sub, you will be fine without having to purchase a 2nd license.
Is there a possibility to confirgurate each channel seperately and not with the presets ? like having channel 1+2 Stereo and 3-6 for Subwoofers all running at the same time ?
Can the software create a crossover between my sub and my mains? And can I pick where the crossover is? And can I add a high shelf cut in the custom target??? Thanks
Thank you for these videos. Really helpful. Couple quick questions, is it possible to use any extra I/O as insert send/returns from a DAW (ie. apart from the room correction, is it otherwise a multichannel Dante interface)? And have you noticed any excessive heat generation from it? TIA!

Yes, you can save as many presets as you like. I showd that in the video and the last calibration video

I am not sure about that. you should contact Trinnov directly
