This was when Femi Kuti was Shoki. What a live performance!! Internet and technology really did King Sunny Ade, Majek Fashek and Femi kuti dirty, they came too early....I bet you none of these young guys making big money in music at tthis days can give a superlative live performance such as this....
All music elements was delivered perfectly without the use of auto tune or drum machine.Real and undiluted live performance ❤
Original Afrobeat at it's best... Those where times when Music was used to challenge bad governace, to protest and to create political awareness... It was sung in pure Pidgeon English and a lil bit of Yoruba.
Kudos to Femi,Seun and Made Kuti for continuing their father's Legacy.
RiP to the Late Fela Kuti, the Father and founder of Afrobeat...
Nigeria to the world❤❤❤❤
this was magical! glad to witness this legend in his lifetime!
Good to see Yeni and Funke, who took Sola's place after passing away. May she continue to rest in peace.

Tiwalade on the trombone was simply amazing. I remember watching him at Sunday Jump around 94-95. He made me really enjoy listening to Frustrations of a Young Man. Seyi Clegg on Baritone sax solo here was also amazing.
