I've made your deviled eggs with the sour cream and your potato salad--all well received by my friends. I have yet to make your mom's butter horns and am motivated to do so. I also found your video on painting your kitchen cabinets extremely helpful. I sanded and painted my kitchen cabinets to white and people who had never been to my little condo asked if they were Ikea. I kid you not. Of course changing the hardware made a world of a difference. You inspire me and because of that, I felt you needed to hear it as well. And of course I chuckled when I saw your Christmas Tree video. My mom use to make these same Butterhorns. She got the recipe from her close friend when Mom and Dad lived in California in the 50's. I was raised in Anchorage, Alaska.

TIP for others who might not realize this: Soften the butter first or it will splatter all over the counter if you put the cold butter in.
